  • Henri was found as an egg by Aether officials, in a section of forest that had been ravaged by a natural disaster. Her egg, along with a few others, was tucked away under what was left of a large tree hollow. She was hatched in an incubation chamber in the medical bay, and was the first egg of the rescued batch to actually hatch. She spent a long time huddled with the other eggs, talking to them, asking who they were and when they were going to come out.
    
    Eventually, she was bundled up by some of the workers in the foundation, and taken into the main preservation area. She... never knew if those eggs hatched, but always wondered about them, and that wonder lead her to exploring and trying to help in the medical bay more often than not. After quite a few encounters with Silvally in her back and forth, she finally talked to them.
    
    Silvally was sympathetic to her story, and helped her look around and find out the fate of her egg friends. After some looking, they found the eggs still unhatched, stored carefully in another incubation chamber in the labs below the main floor of the foundation. The eggs had various tubes and attachments on them, connected to monitors watching them. They were all in okay health, but had been badly damaged in the disaster and following move to the foundation. Henri was absolutely heartbroken, but vowed to do her best to help bring them back.
    
    It took a LOT of hard work, but she spent all her time down in that lab, watching the humans, trying to parse what they were saying. Occasionally, a pretty blue Pokémon would show up to check the eggs, but really didn't pay Henri any mind.
    
    With time, Henri helped bring the eggs to their hatching stage, and quickly adopted up all the baby Pokémon as her adoptive siblings. Silvally watched her carefully the whole time, forming their own kind of bond with her. After those newly hatched Pokémon reached a level of maturity they could be released into the preservation area, Silvally approached her privately, offering to put her in a position of power, keeping an eye on Pokémon in the Medical Bay, making sure things were going well on the Pokémon side of things. She accepted instantly, more than happy to help out.
    
    Since then, she's risen to an official Director of the foundation, the same rank as other, extremely important figures, some Pokémon she's always had interest in befriending. Since becoming a Director, she's gotten JUST a bit stuck-up, and is very aware, and very proud of her status.
