Hair: Dull brown colored hair, cut short, with long, uneven bangs. (As an adult he dyes his hair orange and red, grows it out longer, and shapes it into tall "liberty spikes" or a mohawk.)

Eyes:Green, almond-shaped eyes, with the left one being a bit darker than the right

Build: He is very tall and thin, with especially long legs, and almost no body hair at all (he is naturally pretty much hairless, to the point that it looks like he shaves his arms & legs!)

Scars/Body Modifications/Other distinguishing features: As a teen he has one small star tattooed just underneath his right eye, and as an adult he ends up getting several tattoos and piercings. (see examples below, it'd be such a pain to list them all individually!)

Clothing: Always wears shorts (usually grey, black or blue jean), and tank tops or sleeveless shirts (sometimes with band logos on them), often with his high school letterman jacket. (He only wears pants or long sleeves for "formal occasions.")

Disposition: Maverick has a constant need to be the center of attention and lives for partying, stirring up trouble, and making people laugh. Many see him as a bully because he loves teasing others to see how they'll react, and though he claims to just be "joking around" and isn't really trying to hurt anyone, he often does. He has difficulty dealing with serious or stressful situations and expressing his "feelings", and tries to put up a cool, cocky front as often as possible. As much as he loves to dish out insults he can't take them well either, and is also quick to become defensive and grouchy when things don't go his way. For the most part, he's just a fun-loving, outgoing person with poor people skills.

Mannerisms: Always a show off, Maverick stands proudly, with his head held high and his chest puffed out, aiming to take over the room whenever he walks in. He likes to lead the conversation and will sometimes even interrupt others if he finds them boring. He doesn't like to sit still for long either, and will often start tapping his foot when forced to do so. In class he likes being disruptive, doing childish things like shooting spitwads at the back of people's heads just to get a little attention.

Voice: Silly as it sounds, the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog (in the older cartoons), is fairly close to how he sounds. XD (Except not so high-pitched and cartoonish.) His voice is boyish, not very deep, and there's always what can only be described as a "cocky" tone to pretty much everything he says. He also speaks fairly quickly sometimes, though never so fast that he can't be understood.

Maverick is an only child, currently living with his father, Blake, and their two-year old dog, Buddy. His parents divorced when he was young for reasons unknown to him, though he doesn't think or care about it too much. They had always lived a relatively easy life in a nice neighborhood, and his dad gave him pretty much everything he's ever wanted and treated him like a perfect angel who could do no wrong. (Even though he's always been a trouble-making scamp. XD) Because of this, Maverick is brash and pretty spoiled, and doesn't fear "getting into trouble" too much, knowing there'll be no punishment. Even so, he still has as much respect for his father as he's actually able to have for another person, and (briefly) feels bad if he ever upsets him.
