Personality: Luke is energetic, passionate, and can find humor in the strangest things. If anyone asks him about his latest interest, he will launch into an hour long locked-and-loaded ramble. He loves everything horror-related, and has made it a lifetime goal of his to read/watch/play every single piece of horror media ever. He is very disorganized, but in a strange way-- no matter how cluttered his space gets, he still knows where everything is.

Story/Background: Luke is a high school student in a friend group of 6 kids, about to graduate from their freshman year, who find out a circus has come to their small Massachusetts town. The group quickly realizes that this circus is not just some random show, but actually the Dark Carnival, a show rumored to cause some of its attendants to disappear and never be seen again. The kids believe that the rumors are just rumors, and decide to visit the show.
Physical description: A black cat with odd white spotting and yellow eyes. He usually wears basketball shorts and shirts with horror titles on them.

- He's an absolute horror nut, and has watched or read every horror title he can get his hands on.
- He aspires to make horror movies when he gets older.
- He has ADHD, and as a result tends to ramble a lot with no volume control.
- His birthday is March 14th. (He hates it when people make Pi Day jokes because he's god-awful at math.)
- He isn’t aware that Brennan has a crush on him, despite how obvious he (and the others) make it seem. (He does like Brennan back, but hasn't figured it out yet.)
- His name is actually Lucas, but in 4th grade someone called him Luke on accident and he decided he liked it better because he was very fixated on Star Wars at the time.
- He can speak near-fluent Spanish, as his mother is from Mexico. He’s much better at speaking casually than formally. He will often randomly start muttering in Spanish if he gets stressed or upset, or sometimes if he gets too excited. He also usually swears in Spanish, partially to get away with cursing in front of teachers.
- Despite his love of horror, he has a very weak stomach and will sometimes involuntarily throw up at more graphic violence. He’s more likely to have this reaction if it’s visual rather than in writing.
- His favorite movie of all time is John Carpenter’s The Thing, despite the fact that he throws up at least once every time he watches it. (His second favorite is the original Scream.)
