Personality: Casey is bubbly, cheery, and an all-around positive person. She's a genuine sweetheart, but because of this, she can be a bit of a pushover. She is easily spooked and will often cling to Alex when something scares her. She is very social and befriends people easily, and is always doing her best to spread as much positivity as possible.

Story/Background: Casey is a high school student in a friend group of 6 kids, about to graduate from their freshman year, who find out a circus has come to their small Massachusetts town. The group quickly realizes that this circus is not just some random show, but actually the Dark Carnival, a show rumored to cause some of its attendants to disappear and never be seen again. The kids believe that the rumors are just rumors, and decide to visit the show.
Just before the performance starts, one of the performers walks straight into Alex while in a rush to the main tent. She barely has time to get angry with him before he subtly throws her into a light trance. This trance doesn’t do much harm, but makes her incredibly hungry, causing her and Casey to wander off towards the concessions booth while the others go in for the show. As the two are chatting at the booth, Alex turns to pay the attendant only to find he's vanished into thin air. Confused, she looks through the window, but no one is inside. As her and Casey are trying to figure out what happened to the attendant, a large figure overshadows them and they turn to face it in fear.
In the closing page of chapter 2, a puddle of blood is shown at the concessions stand where Casey was last seen. Her whereabouts and safety are currently unknown.

Physical description: A chubby calico cat with fluffy fur and green eyes. She often wears t-shirts and either denim jeans or long skirts.
Extra:
- She's constantly got her phone on her, and never lets a text go unanswered. If anyone calls or texts her and doesn't get a response, it's an immediate cause for concern.
- Despite her general appearance and demeanor, she has an odd interest in bugs and other creepy-crawlies, especially large spiders.
- Her birthday is July 27th. (She's the youngest out of the whole group, and is the only one who is still 14.)
-If she gets spooked or jumpscared, her fur will puff out and make her look extremely fluffy. It takes a while to settle back down, so for a few minutes afterwards she looks like the embodiment of one of those puffball keychains.
- Her entire family is made up of lesbians. (She has two moms, and her older sister isn't straight either.)
