Personality: Ringmaster is sly, cunning, and a force to be reckoned with. She always seems to have the upper hand, twisting everyone to her whim. She's manipulative and rather clever, and is able to quickly assess an unfamiliar situation and come up with a solution to keep things going her way. She seems to be a natural-born leader, often falling into a high role in any given group. However, if you manage to sneak past her defenses, she'll become more irrational and will attack without consideration— it then becomes easy to take her down.

Story/Background: Ringmaster is the owner of a traveling circus that has been dubbed the nickname "the Dark Carnival." She is shrouded in mystery— the only thing people know about her is that she has unnaturally red eyes. She hardly interacts with anyone outside of a performance, aside from the other circus performers. Her role in the show consists of beginning the performance and introducing each act. She keeps all of the show's many secrets under lock and key.
Her first appearance in the comic does not show her in full— she instead lurks by the treeline, plotting with the other performers. She then disappears, only to reappear in the ring as the main show starts. She introduces each performer and their act, then disappears back into the darkness at the end of the show.

Physical description: A skinny black cat with brown-tinted fur who wears a red bow tie, a top hat with a red sash, and a black suit. She has red ringed eyes. She is often seen carrying a long, thin cane styled like a magician’s wand. After chapter 4 of her comic, she has a long scar running through her right eye. She is about 5’8”.
Extra:
- She has very good night vision, but cannot see very well in bright sunlight.
- She can move very fast due to her slim physique.
- She isn’t incredibly steady on her feet, which makes it easy to knock her over or disorient her. It's actually rather easy to knock her down-- provided you can actually get close enough to her to attempt it.
- The only thing that scares her is the wrath of an angry goddess and the legs of the serpent.
- She acts a lot different around her friends than she does other people. With people she doesn't know or doesn't like, she comes off as someone who you shouldn't trust further than you could throw, and who would break your neck with just a snap of her fingers if you vexed her enough. During a circus performance, she seems enthusiastic but coy, as if she knows something you don't. With her friends, she's much less threatening and much more friendly, tending to be the voice of reason and usually being seen as the "leader" of any given group she's in.
- She never reveals her age to anyone, but looks to be in her mid 30s or so. She likes to tell people that her birthday is October 31st (she says it makes her more mysterious), but her real birthdate is unknown.
