Lightning  isn’t very strong nor brave. He’s also shy but very friendly once he warms up to you. Starlight Glimmer is like a big sister to him and he cares about her a lot. Lightning lives in Twilight Sparkle’s castle in the same room as Starlight. His bed is a little floating cloud nearby Starlight’s bed.
He doesn’t know many spells. One of the few spells he does know how to do is  the ‘Teacup Spell’ Trixie taught him. Lightning is sometimes left alone with Discord as his foalsitter and the two make chaos in Twilight’s castle when they’re bored (usually encouraged by Discord). They do managed to clean things up before anyone arrives back...usually.
Lightning’s feathers can turn to ice when removed from his wings. It’s really strong. The only way to break it is by purposefully smashing it on the ground. Daring Do is Lightning’s favorite book series!
