Sneaky, conniving, and not afraid to cause harm to others to get what he wants, Pistis is a huge bundle of trouble. Brontes was hesitant to let him in with all his character flaws, but here he is anyway, under careful watch. This lion is good at putting on a mask, a fake smile, and fitting in. Even with folks knowing about his past and his likely bad intentions, he's still managed to make friends and become a helpful member of the Regiment. Perhaps it's just so he can get off early from his punishment, or so he can get lions to drop their guard. Whatever the reason is, Pistis sure isn't telling anyone but himself.

He loves swimming into the ocean and rivers near the Regiment's land, and has the nice ability to breathe underwater. So any mission that involves delving into submerged caves? He's got it. Caves don't scare him, and neither does the darkness of the depths of the sea.

History

For a name meaning trust, Pistis sure isn't all that truthful. He's been collecting all sorts of stolen treasures for years, from useless trinkets to precious gems. The dark furred lion had been sure that his crimes would never catch up to him, but Starheart's capital city was only so large. He wasn't able to hide forever, and eventually he was captured by the local guards, and tried for his many crimes by the local sheriff.

Pistis, after blatantly lying in everyone's faces, was found guilty indeed, and was made to give back all the things he had gathered. The criminal may have been imprisoned, but some thought he would do better if he was made to assist others out in the world. So, against Pistis's wishes, he was sent to assist the Regiment as restitution for his crimes. He's put on a cheerful facade, acted as if he's willing to comply and help with the battles, but in reality? He just can't resist the call of treasure, and already in this new place he's been snatching things again. Will he get caught again? Probably, some day. But at the moment, he's finding new things for his brand new collection.
