Personality

Irene is a melancholy figure, someone who records the greatness of the past and remembers the things she's seen quite well. She has a lot of ideas in her head and not a lot of ways to actually express them. She's not an artist, and not really good with her words, either. But still, she's glad to be able to keep memory of what previously has happened, and share it with the few lions in the Regiment she's become friends with.

At night, when the stars glimmer above, she will smile up at the sky and wish all her past friends well. She'll dance in the rain, bask under the sun, and fight as best as she can when it's asked of her. Life is simple, and beautiful, and Irene appreciates the good and bad of all of it, in every way she can. And she'll listen to every story along the way.

History

"...and when the moon turns blue, we all go out and catch fireflies. Then, we bring them out to the tallest spot we can find and let them go, into the air! It's supposed to be a sign of good luck. I've never seen it that way, though. It's more of just a fun time with friends, for me. Cause with all these new lights in the sky, and the moon up above, it feels magical. My friends and I would always tell ghost stories. You know, ones about visitors from other planets and werelions and all sorts of spooky creatures. I really loved it!"

"...I wish that my friends could be here so we could do it again." The newly arrived lion hangs her head and sighs. What had previously been a look of wonder fades into sadness. Svarog sits with the new lion and frowns into the silence, until he gains an idea.

"Hey!" She looks up to him as he speaks. "Silvarum might be a different planet, but that's not to say you can't make new friends, or keep old traditions going. How about this - next time there's a full moon around here, I'll go firefly hunting with you. That sound alright?"

She smiles, excited at the prospect. "Yeah," Irene says, as she turns her gaze to the sky. "I think I'd like that."

(She comes from a place with so many things different. But maybe this new home is alright, too.)
