Personality

Calypso is a lion that can be a bit much to hang out with. She's incredibly nice, deeply caring, and always looking to help, but has a bit too much energy for some lions to deal with. She's excited all the time, and if there's something nearby that can be climbed, you can bet she'll be up at the top of it.

Ever since she's arrived at the Regiment with her father, Zal, Calypso has been an encouraging force for the rest of the group. Even though she probably won't remember your name, she'll compliment how nice your fur looks before running off to get into more trouble. Cal wants to be the best warrior in the whole Regiment, and constantly is training and practicing for the fights ahead of her. She hopes that some day she'll surpass everyone else and be the bravest lion around - though she still has a long way to go.

History

Calypso has been traveling with her father as long as she can remember. She and Zal were wanderers, lions who searched around the grand land of Starheart and found work and rest where they could. The two never stayed long in any one place, and they went wherever they wanted to. Life was pretty good. Life still is pretty good, but it's changed as of late.

Calypso was the one who heard the call first - specifically, Brontes' message sent to all of Starheart for brave souls looking to fight back against some terrifying monsters. While Zal wasn't incredibly excited to go out there and get involved, Cal was stunned by the idea of making something more of her life. She enjoyed helping out here and there, where she and Zal could, but this was a whole new opportunity, to do something even better. She asked her father if they could go see what this call was all about, and thankfully, her father agreed. The two made the trek to the ruins, where they have stayed ever since. Perhaps one day life will call them onward, but for now, this is home, and this is exactly where Calypso wants to be.
