Jayla is not shy, she is just polite and will most likely not initiate a discussion, as she might think that she is bothering. Thus she spent most of her time with books, finding peace in reading the stories and knowledge presented to her.

A big enthusiast of coffee (and its ability to keep her awake) and will most likely hog it all for herself, whenever she is in the lab. Quite the big fan of new and interesting findings and will go to great lenghts to call said knowledge her own. She also enjoys the occasional game of table football.

She does not like people who just brush off problems and topics and never even try to think about them. Also not a big fan of any meat. Cannot stand it, if you are lazy and rude and will let you know, if you getting on her nerves too much. (She will try to endure the situation first, as she thinks of herself as being inpolite for calling someone out)
