PROFILE

Would you want to come back to life?

Well, Andrew did and it honestly wasn't a bad thing. Not to him, at least. Most people might believe it to be a curse to be brought back to life, but Andrew's death was ill-deserved, and he honestly paid no mind to returning to humanity. In fact, he was glad. The accident that had ended his life so abruptly kept him from living the life he had wanted. However, thanks to one of his sister's close friends, Andrew was able to continue living that life, as well as keep both his best friend, his sister, and his daughter company and also get some small form of revenge for what happened. Though, it is true that he died peacefully, he was not going to give up the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the ones he loved after they thought they would never see him again. Andrew has had no problem fitting in with humanity again, even though there are holes in his memory. Everything up to this point has been going swimmingly, and it's destined to stay that way.

. . . Right?

PERSONALITY

Andrew is undoubtedly a huge optimist. Just a big ol' teddy bear. He sees good in everybody's heart, and always aims to bring out the best in people, even when he can't bring out the best in himself. I mean, hell, you should've seen the way he reacted to literally dying. As said before, he died peacefully, and was making jokes and not showing even the slightest bit of worry on his face. His best friend was beside him when it all happened, so it could be speculated that Andrew acted like this to keep his friend from worrying. He has that big of a heart, and he'll risk himself for the happiness of another.

But just because Andrew has a very big heart doesn't make him an easy target. He will give his all to fight for his loved ones, the people he cares about. He'll fight for his daughters, he'll fight for his sister, hell, he'll even fight for his best friend . . . even if that friend's actions have been . . Very Questionable. Nonetheless, Andrew is a Lover and a Fighter. Nothing will get in the way of him and the people he loves if he's got anything to say about it.

Josephine "Sophie" E. Hidwin • Younger Sister

Josephine is Andrew's beloved younger sister. As an older brother, he's always felt the need to protect her, even as adults. Well, especially as adults, rather, because their parents' divorce had them seeing either other less and less, Andrew staying with this dad and Josephine with her mom. Sure, there were weekly visits, but even then, Andrew had always felt like that he should be doing something he's not. But... Sophie seems to have gotten along fine. No use in worrying about her now, right?

Andrew loves his sister--he loves all of his family members--but their parents' divorce had definitely hindered their relationship with each other. It's why he was so hesitant to ask to live with her. But, luckily she said yes, and Andrew's been living with his sister ever since. It's the perfect opportunity to make up for lost time. . .

Thomas "Tam" A. Holt • Best (Gay) Friend

Thomas is Andrew's childhood best friend-- hell, he's still his best friend, the two worked together at one point! They've known each other since Kindergarten, and have been almost inseparable ever since. Well, until later circumstances, but we don't talk about that. These two have done many things together, They went to school together, worked together, even built a robot together!

And soon, the two ran off together. Not in a romantic way, sadly, but together nonetheless. Andrew just might have feelings for the man, but who knows? Any time someone says something about it, he'll just act like he doesn't understand. But in actuality, he does understand, but just doesn't want to be embarassed because he Knows Thomas will never love him back. Or at least, that's what he keeps telling himself.

Audrey M. Brauer • Daughter

Audrey is Andrew's beloved daughter that he had by his ex-wife. She's his only human-born child and was fatherless for about a year after Andrew died. Audrey always seemed to favor him over her mother, which is pretty ironic since she seems to take after her mother when it comes to her personality. Audrey was always able to cheer her father up when her mother could not, and Andrew honestly probably spent more time with her than his ex-wife.

When Andrew came back to life and he and Tam came back for Deliah's ass to reclaim Ophelia, Andrew decided he'd take both of his daughters with them. And that he did. He doesn't mind constantly running from the law if it meant that he and his daughter would finally be together again. She was almost all he thought about as he died that day, and he's glad that now she knows that he's okay.

Ophelia "Ophy" Holt-Brauer • Robot Daughter

Ophelia is Andrew's other beloved daughter that is not a real girl, but a robot that he and his co-workers worked on as their own little project. Tam and Andrew ended up being the ones to take care of her as if she were their own (well, she is), but that was only after the lab's explosion. When the explosion happened, someone stole her from them, and it took them years to finally figure out who.

When they did finally get her back from that whore, Ophy's been with them ever since. She's even made friends with Audrey, who had kept her clean while in Audrey's mother's possession. She was the first to know the . . . bad news about Thomas and may or may not have played Caramelldansen on blast at 3 AM. Don't worry, he loves her for it <3.

Delilah Holt-Brauer • Ex-Wife

This absolute fucking whore is Andrew's ex-wife, and also Thomas' sister. This is the bitch who stole Ophelia when the lab that Andrew and Tam worked at exploded. And guess what?? She was in on that explosion! Imagine being in on the explosion that killed your husband. Who even does that??? Fuckin whore. The only good thing that came out of this relationship was Audrey, and Delilah didn't even keep her for long, either.

It is true that the relationship was a healthy one when it first started out. Andrew thought he had gotten the one person that he'd spent the rest of his life with. Having a child just made that belief flourish! But then that shit happens??? You'd best believe that Andrew has a shitton of pent up anger towards this hoe. It's hard to believe that Andrew didn't lash out when he and Tam retrived Ophy and Audrey.

PRE-FRANKENSTEIN

June 29th, 1982, Andrew Brauer was born Rosanne Hidwin and Erik Brauer. He was an only child until 1994, when his little sister, Josephine, was born. The two were close, had a healthy sibling relationship, and were actually getting along with each other. But when their parents divorced, Andrew lived with their father and Josephine with their mother. The divorce was what caused the two to drift apart in their relationship, but at least they got to see each other weekly. Andrew wasn't too happy about it, though. He missed the time he was spending with his sister. Despite this, Andrew was able to find a new, more frequent attachment. He still wishes he and Sophie spent more time together, though.

However, Since Kindergarten, Andrew became friends with a boy named Thomas Holt. Thomas was a bit obsessed with the idea of magic when they met, and honestly? Andrew lived for it. He'd always enjoy hearing about Thomas' interests, and he was glad that Thomas always seemed to listen to his. Sooner or later, the two became inseparable, staying with each other in everything that they did, which includes going to the same college, being doormmates in said college, and even working in the same building. Pretty much the only thing that the two literally couldn't do together was marriage. Not because it was looked down upon, but because Andrew had married Thomas' sister, Delilah, and became the father of his firstborn daughter, Audrey. Nonetheless, Thomas and Andrew stayed together till the very end, and even after the very end, too. But just what was the very end?

One day, Andrew had contracted pneumonia and stayed home from work for about a week. He felt bad having missed so many days and he missed working on the development of project.INQUIRY, who was also named Ophelia. By the time that week passed, he was starting to recover, and decided to come back to work. Many people were surprised to see him back, especially Thomas, who had even tried to convince him to go back home since Andrew was technically still sick, even though he was recovering. He was adamant on staying, though, and was too stubborn to leave. The rest of the team just had to put up with them. He picked a bad day to come back, however.

Later on in the day, when everyone else had left (unbeknownst to him and Thomas) there was an unexplained explosion at the lab in their facility and project.INQUIRY was now missing! The explosion rendered Andrew immobilized, for his leg was pinned underneath rubble that neither of them could move. Luckily Thomas wasn't as injured as he was, but it still took a few hours for Thomas to finally set Andrew free--no one had come to their rescue. Not their team, not Delilah, no one. But by then, his leg had lost a lot of blood--too much for either of their tastes, though Andrew thought almost nothing of it. He was calm during the whole ordeal while Thomas was practically pulling his hair out.

For all Andrew knew, he died of blood loss. It's sworn by Thomas and Josephine that he never finds out his actual cause of death.

POST-FRANKENSTEIN

Andrew stayed dead, like a normal person, until 3 years later. Thomas, unbeknownst to Andrew (obviously, he's dead) put Andrew's body in a freezer to preserve him. Creepy, yet clever, because someone just happened to come along that could actually bring Andrew back to life! Her name was Elle, and reanimation was something that she did best. Elle was Josephine's friend, so she was happy to help bring a family member back to life. It worked like a charm, and Andrew was finally living again.

Being reanimated has its perks--he was now 6'4", 8 inches taller than he used to be, and now taller than Thomas. Along with the heightened height, he also became physically stronger. Like, a lot stronger. Someone could describe that as inhuman. But anything with pros has to come with cons, and the biggest con was that Andrew didn't remember anything when he initially woke up. Thomas didn't mind having to refill him in on the important bits. Andrew even thought Thomas was a girl when he first saw him again because of his long hair. It didn't take too long for Andrew to get back into the swing of things, though. Not long after, the two found out who had stolen project.INQUIRY. It was Delilah, Andrew's now ex-wife. Retrieving her, she was finally back in a rightful home. After that, Andrew quickly went back to being a father, older brother, and best friend.

He didn't stay a best friend for as long as he was expecting to, though. Thomas' doings (that Andrew personally didn't mind since what he was doing to his co-workers was something they deserved) got him in trouble with the law, as it would anybody. Thomas did choose to run, and Andrew ran with him. Alas, the chase only lasted for 10 years, much shorter than Andrew would have liked. Thomas did what Andrew thought was unthinkable: turning himself in. Andrew was distraught by the idea, doing everything he could have to make Thomas change his mind, but to no avail.

Thomas was publicly executed, and Andrew was there to see it.

POST-AMEN

Thomas' death definitely put Andrew in a depressive state. At least he and Audrey were living with Josephine now. That was about the only pro he could think of. Living with his sister gives them the opportunity to catch up on life, but if Andrew were being honest, he spent a lot of his time thinking about Thomas more than anyone else. He doesn't become neglectful, no, but thinking about Thomas drives a lot of his activity, and his activity consists of going to the bar and staying there all night just about every day.

Sometimes he gets drunk, sometimes he gets wasted, sometimes he just sits to listen to the music at the bar. When he first started going to the bar, it was to compensate for Thomas' death. But after meeting a certian spectre--an apparition that he'd never thought he'd see again, he'd be coming to the bar more often just to talk to him. But not only at the bar, he'd talk to him at any chance. Josephine is definitely worried for Andrew. Not only does he go to the bar because he's devastated by Thomas's death, but now he claims to be talking to Thomas' ghost! Audrey's worried as well, but possibly held on to the chance that she could talk to Thomas, too.

Maybe, just maybe, he could come back like Andrew did 10 years ago.

TRIVIA

  • Andrew will not believe that Thomas actually loves him back until Thomas himself says so. You can tell him all you want, but if it isn't from the man himself? He'll deny it.
  • When playing Hide n' Seek, Andrew will immediately start off by going farther away from your hiding place every time if he's the seeker. Ask Audrey. Or even Josephine!
  • He's a big dummy. Like, a really big dummy. You could tell him anything and he'll most likely believe it unless he knows for certain that it isn't true. Like Thomas liking him back.
  • He has nightmares a lot :( especially in the Post-Amen arc.
  • Dying literally made him gay.
