Dislikes: Pygmy creatures (this thing: Pygmy ), fences, being told she needs a real job, being rushed, rules, losing, and spiders.

Personality: Sakura is upbeat and hyperactive, and always looking for adventure. However, she is prone to mischief and slacking off when given the chance, and often needs someone (usually Ramzee) to prevent her from gambling away her savings. She's a bit impulsive and is none to rush into situations without much thought. Because of this, many of the other characters see her as a shady mentor, but deep down many of them see that despite her oddball and often lazy personality, she really does know her stuff when given the chance to show it.

History: Sakura was born and raised in Marou to a wealthy family, and is the youngest child in her family, having two older sisters. While her name  is Sakura, she occasionally goes by her species name "Petaltail"  instead. Unlike her sisters, who took interest in having more conventional jobs such as being doctors or flower shop owners, Sakura had an interest in adventure since a young age and often snuck out in order to see the world. It wasn't long before Sakura began going on all sorts of adventures not unlike Sketches and Lightning in the present, one of her notable adventures being her fight with the Silver Serpent Silvia. In her adventures, she gained a great deal of knowledge about the planet, galaxy, and various magic. Over the years, she's acquired three "familiars" (she calls them this, but they're actually just companions): Ramzee, who's known her since she was a child; Celestria, who was originally her rival; and most recently Yatchi, who she wishes to train. As a young adult, she and Ramzee traveled to Rainbow Island and eventually reached Miniman Town where she ended up meeting Sketches' parents (before they had kids) and ended up in a prank war with  Sketches' dad. She and Ramzee eventually moved into the small town. Many years past, and she eventually met Sketches by mistaking him to be his father. As she learned more about the villains they were facing, she offered to help train the main characters.

Current-Bio: Sakura currently lives in Miniman Town, and is almost always seen with Ramzee by her side. She's often seen with Celestria and Yatchi too, but she's almost always guaranteed to be found with Ramzee. While she still goes on adventures of her own, Sakura is often found training Yatchi or one of the other characters. She occasionally does "investigations" on her own, but Ramzee will almost always reveal that she went gambling instead. She's also occasionally found watching anime.

Meta-History: Sakura and her species are based on an old creature that I made up as a kid called a "Tail" that looks exactly as she does now. There was a variation of Tail for each element, ex: Firetail, Leaftail, Watertail, etc (I remember one was just Redtail and idk what element that was :U Red Element I guess...the forbidden element). Of course, Leaftail already covered the nature Tail variant, but I've always liked petals and wanted to make a petal variant! During the time, I was creating a new "region" of Animal Planet and was creating a list of creatures that lived there and Petaltail is the only one I remember (I do remember the there were creatures that were water/nature, water/fire, and fire/nature but that's it). Her character hasn't actually changed that much, but she was first introduced as the younger cousin of the then "Doctor Leaftail" character who might not exist anymore. |D In fact there's a lot of Tail characters that I'm not sure are real anymore, but at the same time I want to bring them back. Even her sisters, Rosetail and Flowetail; her on-again off-again boy friend Rubytail; her young apprentice Crestail, and several others have been in limbo as characters for years (I think Cres appeared in a 2011 drawing but that's it). Maybe one day I'll bring them back...maybe has the remaining Animals character bios once the villains are done. An early version of Sakura also didn't age, but I found that stupid so I changed it.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Sketches: Sakura originally confused Sketches for his dad, who she had been in an ongoing prank war for years. After the confusion is cleared up, she eventually becomes a mentor-type character to him and the others, but he is known to doubt her abilities (understandably).

Lightning: Similarly to Sketches, Sakura often acts as a mentor figure to Lightning. She and him are also known to geek out about anime together.

Telepathy: Sakura sees potential in Telepathy as a fighter and wants to toughen her up, much to the latter's dismay.

Ramzee: Sakura has known Ramzee longer than almost anyone and almost always has him by her side. Despite him often offering snarky advice and words of wisdom to her, she often ignores his advice and acts reckless much to his dismay.

Yatchi: Sakura and Yatchi get along well, as Sakura understands and speaks enough German to converse with him. She's occasionally shown being a mentor to him too.

Patchi: Sakura and Patchi are friends.

Celestria: Sakura and Celestria were rivals in their youth, but are currently comrades.

Sylvia: During an early adventure, Sakura and Sylvia were enemies. However, in the present they're like old friends. Time works in mysterious ways.

Rosetail: Sakura and her older sister don't always see eye to eye.

Flowertail: Sakura gets along better with Flower than she does with Rose.

Leaftail: Sakura gets along fine with her cousin.

Crestail: Sakura is Cres's mentor.

Rubytail: Ruby and Sakura have been in an off and on relationship for years. Why he keeps coming back is a mystery.

Sushi: Sakura and Sushi grew up in the same town and are good friends.
