She seems...suspicious, but I'm not asking questions. I have better things than people to worry about, like the monsters I'm going to poison with these concoctions and plants she sells.
What a interesting fellow indeed, I need to keep an eye on that one.
I got wyrdweed from her! It was great! Well, it didn't do anything to me, but making smoke shapes was fun.
Oh what a surprize it was meeting Labrea, I would be delighted to see her again
Aihonistra: Namestealer ran into her some at Namarast, shared a few classes. She seems nice. Perhaps someday we'll be properly introduced without any input from my unfriendly neighborhood identity thief.
Namestealer: I've always liked seeing the cute puffball mages be the ones to monster out. Kind of hoping this is the one. You never know.
Vizon's magic is quite useful, and Arianwyn has used her portal services on multiple occasions now. Overall, she finds the portal-maker cordial enough, and respects another loyal Order mage.
I respect her ambition and pride. She's not only a competent individual, but a highly powerful mage and a successful monster slayer. The kids would call her a "girlboss."
Now there's a mage I can respect! A monster vanquisher ever ready to defend his people; a certain overeaching power had best leave him be to do his job.
We were all doing what we had to do, even if it was hard.
No way I could 'splain off bein' there tryin'ta sooth the beast when he came. Parents couldn' finda doctor ta cure the Corruption. Nobody can. And he turned while I was sittin'.
Thought he'd rat us out, Order Mage an' all. But he didn'. Just waited all polite fer when the parents were ready, and put the boy outa his misery. Musta been hard. Was hard fer me just watchin'. But twas nice'n quick'n painless. A weak monster, a strong power.
Respect fer the man. If we ever do meet again, hope I kin look past all the bad memories fer the hero who did the hard thing. 'n hopefully he kin look past the memories of a traumatized blank eyed ol' woman n'see me at my not low. A good man.
I like this fake pashenko! Pandora's a magic eater! That she fed on my power was just an accident. Not the first time I've been mistaken for a real monster, not the last. Maybe she knows the feeling. Good companion for helping fight fires and get people out of danger when the Pyre roared (once we cleared up the whole not being monsters thing).
Poor nervous thing! I'd give her a big hug except...well. Terrible idea. But we're friends.
Vizon was nice, as long as she got what she wanted. I’m not always up for putting someone elses needs above mine. Her magic is useful and practical, and I have no reason to be rude to her.
He was fun…but we both thought we were better than each other in the end. An enjoyable enough fling as such things go.
When it comes to business, Ravid is a tolerable man, useful, focused. I hope we shall continue to further each other’s aims.
One of the strangest mages they ever met, and unsure what to think of her whole situation. Wishes her luck in solving what seems like a thorny problem, whether Aihonistra or Namestealer is the rightful inhabitant of her body. Somewhat regretful that they couldn't be of more help.
Aihonistra: Whatever else I've heard about them I can respect this powerful yet polite dissenter. I hope they have an idea of what to do with Otto.
Namestealer: I know it sounds like a villain rant, but THAT WRETCHED INTERLOPER doesn't know when to leave well enough alone! I'm not planning on forgiving and forgetting somebody ruining a perfectly beneficial deal between I and another immortal being. And I hate them, and I hate their Void. I think they could actually kill me, or worse, deprive me of sensation for eternity. At the same time, I like to think there's some Corruption in them, and the scent of their power is delicious. Metaphorically speaking. I can't smell most magic.
Has probably heard Enn mention her at some point; otherwise unmet as of now...
Ooo! Them! I saw them drop kick an Order Mage intae the Void at the Dancing Market! Hopefully not permanently. Interesting person, has an air o'power'bout them. Wouldn' mind meetin' them proply someday.
"Nothing new was ever born without blood. We can't sit still and wait for it."
Enn's righthoof guy; I babysit for'im. What a nice kiddo he has! But I am worried about all these violent fellers. We want a good world fer our youngins, not just a new one.
" Who?" Said in the tone of voice of a man who very much knows but is full of spite.
Oh, him... We can put aside differences in character when working towards a common goal such as surviving the navel academy or fending off pirates.
Namestealer: I don't know what it is about him but that man gives me the creeps.
Aihonistra: Fifth worst thing in my life. Leaves a foul taste trying to work with a monster like him to save my own skin. We almost sabatoged Namestealer, without it even knowing I was involved, but I rage at the thought of having to have put my kids through the stress and confusion and danger of bargaining with him. I just took the opportunity when I saw it because I wasn't sure when there would be another like it.
Funny little creature, best for the amusement of others.
Namestealer: Met her at Namarast now and then. Pleasant girl I guess. Didn't have many classes together though. Magics are too different. She likes plants. I sometimes like plants.
Aihonistra: Nice girl, needs a firm reminder every now and then to get out of her own head, but given my circumstances I think I need the help much more direly. Wish we could have talked plants.
So you've obviously never attended any of my classes.
Namestealer: Ah. Professor in Magical Basics....he's a magical basic so it's a good thing they have him teaching that.
Aihonistra: I'm mortified at the disdain shown for a decent professor by the thing possessing me, and how that (and other behaviors) will stain my name. I for one found his class interesting, especially the parts on herbs and potions.
Why don't I got anything to say here?? // OH YOU’RE SUUUUPER ANNOYIIING
Aihonistra: I'll admit I'm put out about the fact a nasty mage remnant possessing my body blew my remaining life savings on unleashing this absolute murderhead. Hopefully Io knows what to do with him. Also he wrecked my soul vault. I was just trying to be hospitable.
Namestealer: Still hoping the immortal I scratch your back you scratch mine deal is on despite only attempted back scratching.
I hate mercs...specially onesit use chillens as shields! I'm onis bad side now but whadelse could I do? He was kidnappin a child!
Roe admires Labrea for her bravery and strength shown during the hunt. The beast would not have been slain so easily without her.
I ran into her a few times battling the Crone. She seems kind and brave even in the face of frightening things. I'm glad she survived and hope she'll be alright. Maybe we'll run into each other again someday.
She seems to find me very interesting. I don't know anything about her. But she did fight the Crone. Still, I don't like all this attention. I know I'm a monster. I'm not interested in socializing with people who are only interested in me for that reason. All this attention is too much. Unless that isn't her reason? I find her hard to read.
Now that she's battled the Pyre as well with her beautiful stars I've warmed up to her slightly. Could be interesting to talk to her. Also her sparkly neck is cool.
"A strange one that dislikes mages, but I've grown to somewhat enjoy his company. His passion for the hunt and his armor helps create a challenge that I enjoy."
"...She is a mage, but she does use her talents in support of monster hunters, and she shows no signs of Corruption as of yet, so I can accept her active use of magic. And she did do an astounding job on my armor. Saved my life, indirectly."
Oh, he helped me get those people away from the Crone! With his turning-water-into-cold-rocks power. (That's called ice, apparently, and it's still water.) Then we fought the Crone some more.
Quiet, mysterious, probably has lots of stories. Like me. Never mind running into him. He treated me like a person once he was used to me which was nice. Aquilo also found me when the Pyre rose and we hunted it together.
