After Willow and her mother came to the village, things got alot more stressful for Creek. Not necessarily in a bad way, but he did find that broken bones and mysterious fires were much more common.
Willow often saw Creek spying on her when she was hanging out with Puddle or Swan, which she found most annoying. How was she supposed to get away with things if she was constantly being watched? Despite this setback, she still managed to run amuck among the camp, and create numerous amount of problems that Creek made her deal with. Despite her mischievous attitudes, she does trust Creek, and on the rare occasion will actually heed his warnings about places that she shouldn't go to or animals that she should just leave alone.
Tau cares deeply for Centipede. While he can be a bit dim, she knows that his heart is in the right place, and she feels bad for both her and his own circumstances. She acknowledges that he can't change his scales, just as much as she can't change hers, and doesn't blame him for the way that the world works. She is relieved that despite how Centipede was raised, he still doesn't see any difference between their two tribes, and is more than happy to chat to a Hive'Wing or Silk'Wing. Tau can't wait for Centipede to make his way to the new continent so that she can show him all of the things that she has learnt here
Tau is Centipedes only friend. He doesn't understand why he can't seem to get along with the other dragons as much as he does with Tau. Tau is so patient and willing to explain things to him which he knows he should already know. He adores going to parties with her, and isn't afraid to tell others to back off when he sees them being rude or disrespectful to her
Needle was fascinated by the stories that Tau told him of her home. It was unlike anything that he had ever experienced on his own continent, and he finds that he could listen to Tau talk for hours on end without getting bored. He is currently trying to subtlety persuade her to stay in Sanctuary, not wanting to lose his new friend
Tau enjoys Needle's company. While he is nothing like Centipede, he does still have goofy charm that Tau adores. Chatting with Needle feels like home, which Tau misses greatly. However the more time that she spends here, the easier it is for her to imagine a future far away from any Hive'Wings. Except of course Centipede. Tau is always happy to chat to Needle, and loves buying trinkets from him in exchange for her woven silk.
Tau was more than shocked upon seeing a hybrid of a Silk'Wing with someone of the other continent. She was told by the young dragon'et that she was born from an egg of pure magic, which was even crazier than what Tau had assumed happened. Despite the strange backstory of the young dragon'et, Tau does still enjoy her company, and looks forward to her visits
Willow was very excited when she first saw Tau. While she had always assumed that her strange looks were because she was from an animus touched egg, she is even happier that its because half of her dna comes from a silkie. She begged Tau to teach her how to use her silk properly and weave with it, which Tau agreed to in return that Willow would teach her about this continent and expand her language skills in common
Puddle instantly sympathised with Willow when he first saw her. Another Mud'Wing hybrid, just like him. He cares deeply for the younger dragon'et, and is willing to take the brunt of anything that she may do to get into trouble.
Willow loves annoying Puddle. She has taken the role of younger sister with full force, constantly playing pranks on him or getting the two into trouble. She fully trusts Puddle, and knows that no matter what happened she can count on him to help her.
Swan wasn't sure about the strange looking Mud'Wing at first, but she very quickly grew a kindship toward her. She wanted nothing more than to protect her from the harsh world outside and to ensure that she had all the possibilities that she could possible have
Willow grew up with Swan essentially as an older sibling. While neither had their own 'sib groups', they had managed to make one with their friends at the mini village. Willow trusts Swan whole heartedly, and much of her personality had been shaped by Swan's own. She hopes to go to Jade Mountain Academy just like Swan did
While Tune hadn't been taken by the Night'Wings himself, it was common knowledge that they had kidnapped and tortured numerous Rain'Wings, betraying any trust that they may have had with the tribe previously. Tune does understand that Dark'Hunter has nothing to do with the previous generations actions, but she still can't help but feel fearful around the dragon'et. She wishes that she didn't feel this unease, but she is too frightened to actively seek a friendship with any of the Night'Wings at Jade'Mountain, including Dark
Dark hasn't gotten the opportunity to connect with Tune as much as she has with Swan. Tune is much too energetic and extroverted for Dark, and she can always feel the young dragons unease whenever she is around. Dark instead purposefully avoids the rain'wing, not wanting to cause him anymore unease and discomfort than he may already have with the other Night'Wings around him
Swan feels very close to Dark'Hunter. At first she talked to the quiet dragon'et at request from Clay, but she very quickly grew a quiet but powerful friendship with her. She knows that she can confide with Dark'Hunter about anything that may trouble her, and she the same. She finds that despite loving all of Jade'Mountains different personalities, it can get very overwhelming, so staying by Dark'Hunter's side is very calming and is a welcome change from the noise
Dark'Hunter enjoys Swan's presence. She appreciates how quiet and calming Swan is around her, despite her being so loud and excitable around the other dragons, namely Tune. Dark likes just sitting with Swan, talking quietly about their pasts or potential futures. She feels that Swan truly doesn't judge her for being a Night'wing, and as a result feels very safe around Swan, often actively trying to group with her for the mandatory hunting parties or group projects.
Rhubarb knew that he was in for trouble soon after Annatto hatched. She was a very free-spirited and headstrong dragon'et, and Rhubarb had to continually remind her when she was growing up that she won't get along with everyone. He encouraged her to group up with the other dragon'ets her age, but Annatto was busy dreaming of her future to care about friendships. As a result, Annatto found it difficult when she was older to truly connect with other dragons. But Rhubarb was there for her, and continually helped her through until she developed the social support system that she needed
While Annatto didn't stay at the nursery for as long as some of the other Rain'Wings had, Annatto was still raised from her hatching day by Rhubarb. She was taught by Rhubarb to stay determined and was consistently reminded by him that even if it didn't feel like it now, things would work out eventually. She cares deeply for Rhubarb and would be willing to wage war with every dragon on Pyrrhia if it kept him safe.
Rhubarb felt for the young dragon'et when he first arrived in the nursery. He had already made it his mission to protect all the dragon'ets in the tribe, and that included making sure that they were all taught the appropriate life skills for their future. So when Tune, and many other dragon'ets, began showing up in the nursery, Rhubarb began teaching them.
When Jade Mountain Academy opened the second year, Rhubarb pushed for Tune to be accepted to go, knowing that this would be the best opportunity he would have to grow
Tune grew under Rhubarb's wing, staying in the nursery for much of his dragon'ethood. He had trouble in school, often finding it difficult to focus and listen to the teachers, and so was sent to the nursery much of the time. Here Tune was taught by Rhubarb, who unlike the other Rain'Wing teachers, was willing to wait for him and properly help him when he needed it. It is with Rhubarb that Tune properly learnt how to tree'hop, spit acid, fly, and learn the different flora and fauna in the rainforest.
Needle has a deep distrust of Night'Wing's, and Star'Writer is no different. While he hasn't officially met Star, he has heard about him from Lorikeet, and that is all he needs to hear. He is astounded at how awful and deceitful the Night'Wings were, and as a result hates the entire tribe.
Star doesn't really know much about Needle. He knows that he trades with Lorikeet, so he can only assume how much he hates Night'Wings, but he tries not to hold a grudge against the Sand'Wing. Maybe he's actually nice, and has never met a Night'Wing before. Star doesn't know, but he doesn't exactly plan to prove Needle wrong either so Star tends to stay away from the Sand'Wing
Swan views Bayou in the highest light. She could always count on Bayou to be their for her and support her in any way she may need. She was the dragon who suggested that she apply to go to Jade Mountain, and she is the dragon who truly made her feel like she was home. She loves Creek, but being the same tribe as Bayou made her feel more connected to her culture, and in return, more connected to Bayou. Swan could relate to Bayou in many ways, and so often seeks advice from the dragon, taking care to show her appreciation whenever she visits her,
Bayou is the dragon who first found Swan when she was just a young dragon'et. Having lost her own sibling troupe, Bayou immediately sympathised with the young dragon, not willing to leave her alone in the world. She knew that the Mud'Wing tribe would take care of her, as they did with herself, but it would never truly feel like family, not like her original siblings would. She loves Swan as much as she loves Puddle, and she truly only wants the best for her in life.
[Pre Culling] Bark'Fur doesn't know Moon'Eye all that well. He knows that she is a medicine'cat apprentice, which is good because they will need a medicine'cat in the future! But with the prophecies that he has to interpret, the Star'Clan cat guiding him with what to do, and Blue'Stone constantly fretting over his every move, True hasn't had much time to get to know the other cats in the group. Still, he has noticed how excited she acts when he talks about his prophecies, and lately he's been confiding in her, with the Star'Clan cat's permission of course, about what a few of his prophecies may mean.
[Pre Culling] Moon can't help but admire the warrior. Bark, or True'Speech as Blue'Stone says that we should call him, has been chosen by Star'Clan to fix what River'Clan started! While she hasn't actually met any River'Clan cats before (the medicine'cats had stopped going to the moon'stone), she, along with all the clans, has seen what their blasphemy as caused. True'Speech has told her time and time again about how the fires that spread from clan to clan were obviously sent by Star'Clan as a warning. A warning that if they didn't start listening to, would come true. This alone was enough to convince Moon'Eye to join True's group to fix the four clans, before anything else happened.
[Pre Culling] Moon loves her brother fiercely. She stuck by his said all through kithood, and was very reluctant to venture off on her own when it came time to become an apprentice. She has started joining in the meetings with Bark'Fur and Blue'Stone, and she has tried numerous times to try to persuade Sun'Snout to join, but he keeps refusing. She's sure that she will get him to join at some point.
[Pre Culling] Sun is very protective of his sibling. He takes extra care because of her blind eye, and he was very relieved that she became a medicine'cat apprentice, as it meant that she was out of danger. He and Moon are the same age, but he still feels like a big brother to her, and he is sure to help her at her every turn. He's a bit worried because Moon has started hanging out with Blue'Stone and the shaky warrior called Bark something. He can feel something bad is going to happen, but no amount of convincing has made Moon leave their clique. He just hopes that she won't do anything she'll regret if the rumours of what they are saying is true
Lorikeet dislikes Star’Writer and his gang. He firmly distrusts all Night’Wings, and that includes their vicious young. When Star’Writer first moved to Sanctuary, Lorikeet reluctantly welcomed them in, however he made it clear that they were to stay far from him and his hospital. Upon hearing that they had started their own healing hut, he felt relieved as it meant that he would no longer need to treat any night’wings
Star’Writer hates Lorikeet. He moved to Sanctuary to try to start a new life, but upon moving instead found hostility and exclusion from everyone, but especially Lorikeet. He decided to start his own hospital after he realised that Lorikeet was never going to treat night’wings as he treated his other patients, instead quickly dispatching them in order to get them out of his hospital, not taking the care to make sure they were actually healed. He purposely set up camp far away from Lorikeet, near the other end of town where many of the other outcasts (mainly night’wings) were situated.
Needle doesn't know much about the old Sky'Wing, not even his name, but regardless he thinks of the sky'wing highly. He would never have thought of trading with him, but while flying through the mountainside, he smelt the aroma of vanilla and ginger, wafting from a lone cave. Upon landing on the rocky outcrop he was nearly pushed off by Tanzanite, but was saved by the amount of paper and flowers that he happened to have on himself. The two quickly made a deal that Needle would bring Tanzanite a monthly supply of wax, flowers and coconuts, and in return Tanzanite would give Needle a large amount of candles, some of which he trades with others, and some of which he keeps for himself while he travels.
Tanzanite would have chased Needle off if it wasn't for the ribbonwood flowers that Needle had tucked inside his bag. Very reluctantly Tanzanite chose to create a deal with the camel, trading his obscene amount of candles for basic supplies and exotic goods, and Ribbonwood flowers
Bug finds Needle very overwhelming. He’s loud, talks a lot, and keeps looking at her like she is his best friend. Which she’s not. She finds that just being around him exhausts her, and so she tends to stay away. She is getting a little bit annoyed at just how insistent Needle has been lately, and she’s been trying to think of ways to make it clearer that she really doesn’t want to be friends
Needle doesn’t know a huge amount about Terra. He’s only ever met her a few times, but usually Finch deals with organising the orders and stock. Needle hadn’t seen a silk’wing before seeing Terra so he was very inquisitive, but he thinks that maybe he scared her away at their first meeting. Which he feels is weird because he hardly ever finds someone who dislikes him for virtually no reason. Usually they hate him because he’s stolen a trinket from them or he has just annoyed them that bit too much, but Needle feels like he hasn’t actually done anything to make Terra so nervous of him. So he actively tries to say hello to Terra whenever he sees her on his travels, attempting to make some sort of connection with the silk’wing
Needle thinks that if Jackal took the stick out of her butt they might actually get along. He visits Queen Thorn at least once a month, but his visit is always cut short by Jackal and her pestering and spying. Queen Thorn would not care nor know if he stole the occasional jewel or trinket from her collection, but Needle knows that Jackal would somehow find out, and then proceed to insist that he be thrown in the dungeon. Needle finds Jackal’s insistence humorous however, and he finds enjoyment out of teasing her whenever he visits.
Jackal can’t imagine a more annoying character then Needle. She finds Needle to be dishonest and scheming, and she cannot believe just how much Queen Thorn loves him! Granted his wares are quite good quality, and she does occasionally buy some gorgeous armour and weapon pieces through him, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a snake! She knows that he would steal the scales off her back if she gave him a chance to.
Cuttlefish enjoys Mako's company. He finds Mako to be easy to be around, and he doesn't force Cuttlefish to chat and make conversation. When Cuttlefish can get away from his Auntie, he always goes to find Mako for a hunting session or a patrol out in deeper waters. Anywhere away from the bustling castles and the expectations of his Auntie
Mako finds Cuttlefish calming, a total 180 from the rest of his cousins. He loves being able to be with Cuttlefish, and the prospect of having a nice and calm sparing session or patrol is a highlight of his week. Mako often feels bad about how his Auntie treats Cuttlefish, but he knows better than to argue with the queen, even if she is his mother. So any chance he gets he likes to escape, from prying eyes so the two can just live
Blueberry never had any parents, like all rain'wings. She was born in the hatchery, surrounded by dragons who didn't really care about her. She, along with many of the dragon'ets, were sent to Rhubarb to be looked after so the adults didn't have to look after them. Blueberry quickly grew a liking to the funny old rain'wing who seemed so different compared to the adults who couldn't connect with the dragon'ets. She quickly started looking up to Rhubarb for advice and guidance. Even now, Blueberry is appreciative of just how much Rhubarb looked after her throughout her dragon'ethood.
Rhubarb has looked after many young dragon'ets throughout his life. But Blueberry still sticks out to him as being one of the nicest that he has looked after. She was always such a happy and energetic dragon'et, and was always willing to help Rhubarb with the youngest dragon'ets. He feels for the young dragon, and wants nothing but the best for her future
Needle was never a fan of crowds, and he had always planned to stay away from Sanctuary, but following a bad accident, Needle found that he needed medical attention quite desperately. Which is how he met Lorikeet. He finds the idea of a Rain'Wing not only out of their kingdom, but in the Sand'Kingdom of all places perplexing, but he soon grew to like the strange Rain'Wing. Now Needle is always sure to pay a visit to Sanctuary to trade with Lorikeet, thankful for his help.
Upon hearing how badly Lorikeet had been treated by the Night’Wings, Needle quickly grew a distrust of them, becoming reluctant to trade with any that he met along his travels
Lorikeet treated Needle as he would with any other patient. Kindness and civility, but at the end of the day, they would forget about him as he would after another dozen patients. But Needle was different, he came back. Not because he was ill or needed treatment, but simply because he wanted to say hello and thank Lorikeet for helping with his burn. Granted he also traded with Lorikeet, but he knew that Needle didn't like Sanctuary. Lorikeet always feels warm inside whenever Needle shows up, and he always keeps an eye out for the Sand'Wing when he goes outside to start work
Tau is supremely thankful that Lorikeet was willing to let her stay at his home when she came to Pyrrhia. His generosity helped her land on her feet in this new land, and, with his help, she managed to start her own stall and make an income in Sanctuary. She was taken aback at just how much he was willing to help her, and to this day she is always giving him small gifts of woven silk and artwork
Lorikeet couldn't believe what he was seeing when he first met Tau. They were a dragon whom he had never seen anything like, and they were stuck in this new land with little help from others. Lorikeet was more than happy to offer her a place in his home, and he made care to help the Silk'Wing as she found her legs in this new world. He admires just how resilient they are, and he is always looking forward to her company at the end of the day
The first thing that Creek noticed about Bayou was just how warm she looked when she smiled. He knew that he couldn't fall in love with this Mud'Wing, someone who was an enemy to his entire kingdom, but he did anyway. She and her calm eyes and soft voice managed to creep a way into Creeks heart, causing him to become a traitor to his kingdom to be with her. Creek misses the Sea'Kingdom sometimes, but he would never take it back if it meant he couldn't have what he has now with Bayou. He is the happiest hes ever been.
Bayou was out on patrol when she met Creek. He was hiding in the river below them, his eyes glowing with awe as she flew past. She didn't know what she was thinking, but she decided from that moment that as soon as their patrol was dismissed for the day, she would go back to that river to find the mysterious sea'wing. And she did. The two met, day after day, growing closer and closer together. Until finally, they decided to runaway together. Hide from the war that seemed to be determined to tear them apart, and stay with eachother. It was the best decision that Bayou ever made
Swan only met Tune when she started going to school, but it feels like much longer. It was refreshing to find a dragon who hadn't been affected by the war like the other dragon'ets, and who didn't judge her for being a 'fake' Mud'Wing. She loved how accepting and encouraging the young dragon was, always ready to talk about something new or do a different activity
Tune hadn't met any other Mud'Wings before he met Swan. He hadn't actually met any other tribes, so to become friends with Swan, and listen to her talk about where she lives and her amazing family was definitely refreshing. Tune can't imagine just how strong Swan must be inside to have seen the world at its worst, and still have so much faith in the future.
Swan never really appreciated just how much Creek took care of her growing up, but now that she is older, Swan truly cares for Creek. She would never have survived in the world if Creek hadn't taken her in, and she is sure that she would never had turned out as ok as she is now if Creek wasn't there to help her when things turned rough
Creek was wary of taking in Swan at first. The thought of more dragons to hide from the kingdoms was a terrifying thought, but he is beyond happy that his kindness broke through his anxiety. Creek learnt alot from Swan as she grew up, and he is so proud of how far she has come. Despite just how much she managed to get both herself and Puddle in trouble growing up, he managed to learn to let go of the two, slowly giving them more freedom as they grew
