Jaycrest's former apprentice, closest friend, and confidant. Jaycrest strongly believes that he can rely on Spottedwing, after all the young cat was responsible for helping him get out of his shell and eventually stand up against his abusive father. He learned as much from Spottedwing as his apprentice did from him. He is saddened that his former apprentice injured himself trying to save Fowltooth but is relieved to see him back at his warrior duties. Perhaps he and Spottedwing could hang out together as fellow mentors training Burrpaw and Cinderpaw together?
Windclan deputy, and (attempted?) ally. Jaycrest admires Houndkick's dedication to bettering his clan and trying to bring peace to all clans. He views those ideals as naive, but in a life where Jaycrest's clan is literally surrounded to all sides by the other clans, maybe hope for a life of peace is a nice wish to strive to achieve. Jaycrest himself sees Houndkick as a responsible and respectable deputy. He feels weird that the other tom somehow admires him in return. What does Houndkick see in him? Why do those thoughts make his heart race? Best not to question it.
Houndkick has a lot of respect for Jaycrest and really wants to get to know him better! He really enjoys talking to Jaycrest and thinks the other tom would be really fun to hang out with if Jaycrest wasn't so worried and stressed about Clan politics all the time. He hopes he can help Jaycrest feel less stressed in general.
Firepaw's first friend! Cinderpaw practically rolled into him, and from there the two got along! Firepaw admires the other clan cat's skills, and want to learn what he can from them.
THE COOLEST CAT IN ALL THE CLANS! BEST OF FRIENDS!
Jaycrest's current apprentice. He appreciates Cinderpaw's energy and honesty. They have a long way to go to become a warrior, but they are already showing good qualities that will someday make them an invaluable member of Thunderclan. On a personal level, he has trouble connecting with the young cat. They remind him a lot of his old mentor and her mate. As much as he tries to be there for them, it's hard to not feel haunted by the ghost of their parents.
Houndkick feels a great sense of duty towards protecting Firepaw. Despite this, he also treats his apprentice like he would his own kit and feels a form of familial love for the young cat. He would do anything to protect Firepaw from harm.
Firepaw's mentor! Houndkick is a totally awesome guy, and it is NOT because he's deputy. Similar to Lightningstar, Firepaw could not care less that his mentor has a high rank. He likes Houndkick because the tom is chill, kind, and especially patient when Firepaw gets distracted.
Swallowpaw's adoptive brother! She cares deeply for Morningpaw, feeling the closest to him out of all their family.
Not only is Swallowpaw his sister, but also Morningpaw's best friend! He's the closest to her in both their family and ShadowClan.
Battooth cares about their sibling deeply. The two both joined the clans together and had to adjust to clan life at the same time. As apprentices, they were both thick as thieves...has that changes now that they're both warriors? Not really. Together they can be quite the duo!
Tornwing respects Heronflight a lot. He admires her decision to become a medic after her many seasons as a Warrior. They work together well and are good friends.
Heronflight is grateful to Tornwing for his teaching and values his skills as a medic. While it was strange being mentored by a much younger cat, she is glad to have had his support.
Reddentrout frustrates Fledgestorm beyond belief! He’s so stubborn and black and white in his thinking that it makes her want to smack her head against the nearest tree. But there’s a glimmer of a cat who wants to be better under all of that. She just hopes that one day he will come out.
Fledgestorm is a coward, a deserter! How can a cat like her be so cheerful after abandoning her family? But... she does have a good reason, and he has to admit that he would do the same in her situation. Why does she always have to challenge his way of thinking so much? She's frustratingly charming.
Fogstar has always been kind to him, and she is a good aunt. It's just hard for him to accept that she's leader... but he's glad it's her and not Ripplegaze. He's loyal to Fogstar, just as she was to his father, Alderstar. If only he could do more to help her.
Tornwing wishes that he was closer to his cousin, but is unsure how to approach him. Reddentrout just always seems so sad...
Tornwing is Reddentrout's cousin. They rarely talk but Reddentrout does respect him as the Clan's medic.
Cloudshine feels incredibly sympathetic to Reddentrout. She tries her best to make him feel included and loved, but he seems to dodge all of her attempts at forging a family bond.
Cloudshine is... she's nice enough, but Reddentrout just doesn't know how to feel about his cousin. She still has most of her kin and she was trained by the cat Reddentrout hates the most, it's hard to feel very many positive emotions towards her.
