Moonriver is like a second mother to Sandpaw. She has always been there to support him, and he appreciates all that she has already given him, and that she is willing to continue sticking by his side despite his injury. He doesn't even feel worried that he'd a failure of an apprentice, because he knows this isn't the kind of views she'd have of him.
[Warrior Cats AU] Her darling brother... She constantly frets over his health. Worried he may be hiding something...
Doesn't know "Flint" well currently but she was helpful enough. His dislike of rogues was somewhat off-set by her helpfulness while hunting and her flattery about his bravery and righteousness that made her believe he was already leader. At the end of the day however, he's still distrustful and wouldn't hesitate to send her off if she trespassed on Riverclan territory. The offer for extra training however is a lingering temptation—could he convince himself he's just "keeping his enemies closer" as the saying went?
Respects the Windclan deputy enough, even if he feels Houndkick is a little too naïve with thinking the clans will ever all get along. Lakeshade is wary about trying to be friendly with him after his attempt to apologize made the other deputy jumpy, but doesn't wish him any ill-will and hopes they can at least stay amicable for their clans' sakes.
Thinks she's really nice! After going on a journey he definitely feels like they've gotten closer after the shared experience and hopes they can continue hanging out after they return to the clan. Falconpaw is really glad that Duststorm doesn't treat him like a helpless kit and was willing to come to his defense for those who think otherwise after the incident with the rogues.
One of the role-models that Falconpaw looks up to after being trained in the past by the deputy. He sees Houndkick as a friendly, dedicated clanmate and wants to be just as good a warrior as him and Lightningstar combined!
With his most recent journey, he's also more understanding of Houndkick's desire to keep everyone safe—though Falconpaw may have picked up on a selfless desire to protect his clanmates over his own safety from the deputy as well.
Wants to prove to her (and himself) that he'll lead Riverclan to be stronger and more united than how she's leaving it. While he'll outwardly support her choices, even at the recent beratement of some of his clanmates, Lakeshade doesn't always agree that what Redstar is doing is good for the clan's future. He's certain that if she could turn back time and choose someone else as deputy, she would and the resentment he has decided she feels for him has only solidified his decision to avoid discussing things that weigh on his mind.
Loves and looks up to Redstar but dreads the day she joins Star Clan. She admires her leader's strength even with her age, though questions what ever made her pick Lakeshade as deputy. Lilystream is glad to have a leader who strives to make peace over war with their neighbors and that Redstar trusted her enough to let her act as a witness during the discussion of a treaty with Thunderclan. She's almost definitely called Redstar 'mom' by accident, as she sees the elderly leader as the parental figure she lacked after the loss of her birth-mom.
A wonderful apprentice! Lilystream thinks they're a perfect mentor/apprentice pairing, especially with him being her first one. She loves how curious Bluepaw is and how well he picks up on their training. Lilystream is sure he'll make a fine warrior one day with his growing hunting skills. With his distaste for fighting, he's given her hope that the next generation of warriors will be more open to peace than bloodshed with other clans.
Jaycrest's former apprentice, closest friend, and confidant. Jaycrest strongly believes that he can rely on Spottedwing, after all the young cat was responsible for helping him get out of his shell and eventually stand up against his abusive father. He learned as much from Spottedwing as his apprentice did from him. He is saddened that his former apprentice injured himself trying to save Fowltooth but is relieved to see him back at his warrior duties. Perhaps he and Spottedwing could hang out together as fellow mentors training Burrpaw and Cinderpaw together?
Windclan deputy, and (attempted?) ally. Jaycrest admires Houndkick's dedication to bettering his clan and trying to bring peace to all clans. He views those ideals as naive, but in a life where Jaycrest's clan is literally surrounded to all sides by the other clans, maybe hope for a life of peace is a nice wish to strive to achieve. Jaycrest himself sees Houndkick as a responsible and respectable deputy. He feels weird that the other tom somehow admires him in return. What does Houndkick see in him? Why do those thoughts make his heart race? Best not to question it.
Houndkick has a lot of respect for Jaycrest and really wants to get to know him better! He really enjoys talking to Jaycrest and thinks the other tom would be really fun to hang out with if Jaycrest wasn't so worried and stressed about Clan politics all the time. He hopes he can help Jaycrest feel less stressed in general.
Firepaw's first friend! Cinderpaw practically rolled into him, and from there the two got along! Firepaw admires the other clan cat's skills, and want to learn what he can from them.
THE COOLEST CAT IN ALL THE CLANS! BEST OF FRIENDS!
