Mordreaux has a mischievous date with Vilas as they celebrate the Feast of Flowering, hidden and tucked away in the woods.

Things take a turn for the worse, when what was meant to be nothing but a simple spell to bind Lugh to himself is suddenly given more meaning than Mord was ready for.

Mord reveals his grief at losing an old rival/lover, Lugh, who has the ability to reflect any magic aimed at him, including Mord's mindreading. When Lugh seemingly returns from the dead, Mord doesn't handle it very well.

Set during a chilly morning in late winter.
