Vilas returns to Namarast after the Hunts for Ravenous and the Decahedron are resolved, and spies Lasair in disguise, attempted to enter the Tower for her own reasons. She uses him as a way to bypass the magic sensors at the door, but she might've picked an escort too clever for his own good.

A continuation from April's on Fire. Malmr, as Lasair's prisoner, agrees to help her and Antioch find their missing loved ones that he arrested as an Order mage. On the journey, he and Antioch run into the corrupted Ravenous and Malmr suffers. A lot.

A continuation of Doubt truth to be a liar. After claiming his long lost companion as his prisoner, Mord leads them both on horseback to an abandoned house in the woods - the House of Yarrow. Things take a turn for the worse, when what was meant to be nothing but a simple spell to bind Lugh to himself is suddenly given more meaning than Mord was ready for.

Takes place right after Not a cage, but a garden. Vilas and Mord meet for the second time. Mord reveals his grief at losing an old rival/lover, Lugh, who has the ability to reflect any magic aimed at him, including Mord's mindreading. When Lugh seemingly returns from the dead, Mord doesn't handle it very well.

Set during a chilly morning in late winter. Mordreaux has stopped by Namarast under the guise of being a messenger, sent there all the way from Faline, and Vilas chooses to accompany his acquaintance for safety reasons. The midday is approaching fast as two visitors descend down to the lowest levels of the Order's gaol, hoping to meet the noble turned murderer - Natalya Firebird.
