In the beginning Avery had found Raeto, as alone and anxious in Selnaire as he was, as a person in need of her sympathy. First a classmate, then a coworker, Raeto would quickly become the person Avery would describe as her closest friend. He is the perfect mix of mild and wild to compliment her. Perhaps due to both personality and circumstance, opening up to him came astoundingly naturally to her. She adores him. Though she genuinely respects the man, she can be quite protective over him.

From her sweet demeanor and her cheerful, inquisitive energy to her kind, calm and understanding regard, Avery quickly fell for Posy. Additionally, Posy’s beauty and sense of fashion drew Avery’s eye to an extent she hadn’t known she was quite capable of them being drawn before.
While she took it upon herself to help Posy adapt to the Selnaire way of life, Avery was also fascinated to learn of and consider Posy’s way of life as an outsider. She wishes for her to live her new life to the fullest degree. However, she does occasionally struggle with being coddling or overprotective of the woman.
