There are still many questions surrounding the true purpose of being an Angel Gamer, and Kokoro resolves to uncover the truth with the help of her friends. She finally meets the Gamers considered "enemies", only to find they're students from St. Angel, an Angel Gaming boarding school..? Meanwhile, Kureha searches for the meaning of his "existence"...
The middle/development arc that focuses on characters from Kasagiri City, specifically the students of St. Angel--a school built on the principle that that Angel Gamers are nothing but corrupted warriors, that exist only to fight.
In addition, this is the first arc in which Kokoro and Kureha alternate as the main protagonist, with their own independent stories and viewpoints separated.
