"Kyaaa~- oh it's just you Aveil! I suppose the posted guards have a weak area then... you could always send a letter beforehand, you know. The usual tea?"
If Roselia is a Rose... Aveil is a rock thrown into the greenhouse. That said Roselia actually appreciates her a lot, a nice person who takes the time to visit despite the danger- whose offering so many pretty things though Roselia will decline them all. Not to mention, she's helpful when it comes to breaking laws for good reasons.
"Though since you're here... does that mean you have a few stray ladies and gentlemen that want to head to somewhere new in Kotiin?"
Aveil puts Mortis on edge. She'll stand on guard around Roselia, and prevent Syurifi from doing something regrettable to the best of her ability.
One thing that concerns her about Aveil is the confidence. It's one thing to be smart, resourceful, and skilled- anyone equally skilled can counter that. The confidence it's just plain intimidating- and makes it seem like she knows or plans a lot more than she lets on.
"Ohoho! Another pirate captain~ My my, are you the strongest on the sea or the prettiest?"
Syurifi could not chose which pirate she likes most between Caspian and Aveil, but she will admit she wants them to fight for her attention. Despite being comfortable with the Ferry Co. Sadly Roselia and Mortis will try to stop her from accepting any stolen goods.
Doesn't stop her from asking about the piracy business and singing sea-shanties with Aveil.
Her sister, they were very supportive of each other as children. She hasn't spoken to Mer as much recently. She hopes to catch up soon.
Once a blossoming friendship and fleeting crush turned into envious rage as Synoeca was taken. She knows it's not his fault and doesn't necessarily blame him but definitely isn't entirely pleased. Ven does stop to think about him once in awhile and truly does hope he's still alive wherever he is.
See, when Anna walked into an informal meeting with the co-organizer for the charity ball, she didn't expect leather and metal. Lakshmi took her by storm... and by motorcycle. The white-lace princess clashed with the biker businesswoman and they became great friends. Victorianna has tried to make sure her fondness doesn't rely on Lakshmi's resemblance to a certain woman... More than anything, she's someone that gives Anna the same feeling of safety she's been missing for a long while. For that, she's endlessly thankful.
That and how Lakshmi doesn't make fun of her for not knowing certain obvious normal-people things. What, she's never been on a subway! She's had a personal driver for as long as she remembers!
"You look as radiant as ever. Has business been good? You're positively glowing."
He's already been turned down by Melusine, but the statement is honest. He can't help but admire her and her husband, though, they're strong people.
That said, he's also a bit of a loyal customer.
"Ah, yes, how could I have been so blind, you two look so happy together!"
It was embarrassing, true, but he laughed it off and wished the happy couple well. Accidentally propositioning both of the happily married couple instead earned them a good friend.
