"You must be so busy lately!"
He feels blessed when he has a chance to be alone with Kaida, and when it comes down to it, he tries to make himself a good guest whenever he visits. Bringing teas, snacks- whatever he can bring to the cold Hirko. And while he could easily open up about himself, he asks if business has been good, if she's doing well, if anything fun has happened since he last saw her.
My ex lover. Ah what fine company he was, and what a good learner. A shame really, but no sense caging the heart that doesn't belong to you~
My ex lover. A cut throat business woman who taught me a great many things.
Husband: She can't believe how good they look together. He adores her, and she knows it and returns the feelings in full. Nothing tickles her quite like Styx taking her hand and guiding her through a fancy restaurant or down the carpet of a high profile event with all of his lux and grace.
Wife: He not only adores her lifestyle, but adores her wholeheartedly. He'd buy her anything she asked for... if she couldn't already afford it herself and often get around to buying it first.
Pretty. Like Raphim mining soil, peppered with gold. Reminds Gina of a time they used to sneak off and snatch a few pieces. Sell them for sweets. And now they took it off of cornered sailors. A bit of reminiscing is nice - Aveil has been a deja vu from home in both appearance and helping hand. A buffer for Caspian's gloom that frankly anyone would need a break for - when they're on board Regina gravitates to the woman. She believes they're friends but who knows Ave's view on things.
"I never asked why you ever decided to start this - the constant wandering, always moving. Are you running towards or away from something?"
Staring into the open, untamed skies, where they meet the seas, she contemplates the question. With eyes closed and the wind blowing the gold gasses, she replies "The seas called to me from the monotonous shores and I fell in love with the wind's caress." Her eyes open and she turns to her friend with a somber look... before bursting into laughter, "I got bored and it seemed fun."
"Turn around. Close your eyes." He somehow managed to seem like he was a single frayed nerve away from bouncing with excitement even while wearing a pursed, focused frown. His forehead was creased. Picture perfect nervous schoolboy.
Odd for a man that'd just raided a Geefe transport boat and robbed 10 sailors down to their belt buckles.
"It's the first i touched so it's the first treasure I took. The very first."
Gold fit her, he concluded while resting the heavy necklace around her throat. It was thick workmanship of many delicately laced details, laden with fire agate stones. The biggest one reflected the light and glowed orange like a flame had been lit within it. Yes. Fitting.
Caspian closed the clasp and stepped away. His chest was puffed out almost formally. Behind his back he rung his hands together.
"It's a thank you. A small one, but it's what i could afford." A small stiff smile finally graced his face. "Unless you're interested in some gold belt buckles."
I would call him a pest for the way he just keeps turning up in my life, but there's such a charm to him there, and I can't bring myself to leave him stranded when he gets his ass left behind. He wears my sass well, and I certainly wouldn't mind the occasional fling or treasure in return for all the pick ups~
He'd left before she'd come into his brother's possession but one mention of Claus and he understood why Cion couldn't leave her. He's done his due diligence to help her and atone for whatever sin he'd committed by not strangling Claus in the crib. He didn't bother her nor talk to her much during their short trip, but can never shake off feeling dirty under her gaze. Feeling more Lutierre than he had ever wanted to feel...
I hope I don't look too antagonistic to him, but when I see him all I can see is his brother. Is he as cruel and harsh? Is he going to wait till our guard is completely down and then turn on us last minute? I can't shake the paranoia, but I know he is different, and he must be kinder elsewise Cio wouldn't trust him... surely...
A cruel and brutal monster. Perhaps my wants to cleave him in twain are rather selfish, and perhaps they will really do nothing on a larger perspective, but a personal grudge is a personal grudge. I merely hope his assassination will show others how capable they are of rising up... even though it may be against my own home clan...
There are many things I feel regarding Claudius, and none of them are good. Taken from my home, and kept as some trophy and tool for 8 long years, pushed to the brinks of my abilities mentally and physically. I still have nightmares, I still worry that some day he will find a way to return me to that life...
A stolen toy i was intent on throwing out anyway. Congradulations on the garbageman?
A man of the sea, and oooooh what treasures he has brought me. I'll certainly have to repay him for bringing my two newest family members to the mainland... I can't wait to experience Pakaasu~<3
Yet another Pakkeli that overlooks dark dealings with ease. A beautiful, dangerous woman with power. But one that doesn't abuse it. Consider him drawn. Maybe for all the wrong reasons of seeing someone else in her...
Loves to dance at his bar. Schmoozes with him before her performances to make sure she's fired up and ready to flirt with the audience. Not afraid to play off his flirtatious energy and light heartedly teases him for it.
EMPLOYEE: Eero thinks having her at the bar makes the place even more classy. She's very talented and enjoys her company.
FRIEND: A fellow member of the Iho Palla widowers club. She enjoys the company of Ischade, and feels a kinship with her. Laakari wishes she could soothe Ischade's pain and feels guilty about not curing Iho Palla in time.
A former romantic partner, and I will always look on our time together fondly, no matter where our relationship goes in the future.
They play games with each other a lot. Hilda finds Luma beyond fascinating and is drawn to her. That's why she sticks around despite often losing at their little games.
Likes Fae's style, and it's punctuated nicely with a hint of red merlot ;D
Doesn't really know the queen of the vineyards that well, but really likes this whole wine thing going on and adores Merlotta's drive and passion.
Did someone say shopping? Love going along with my brother for shopping, though if something is a little too spendy, I don't mind being sneaky and making him a replica instead huhuhuhu~
Sisters, though parted early at birth. She has no idea where she is, or what she even looks like.
Sisters, however she was taken with her mother to live among modern Pakkeli in Gacru. She honestly assumes her sister is still living isolated from the rest of the world with the tribe.
"My, my, it's been a long time. I knew it was a good idea to see this dance."
'Batchlings', Siblings, in a manner of speaking. Syurifi adores Melpomene and encourages all her intimating attitude. She's incredibly happy to see her again, and it's shown in sly smiles and admiring the deadly look of the leg.
"Don't tell me you've actually settled down, have you? I could never imagine such things of my haughty little Syurifi," she jests on hearing of her little triad. Though she tends to be fairly stiff and silent among most, her batchling gets to see much more of her true, sarcastic and impish nature~
Though Ischade is a strong woman and manages herself well, she knows deep down she owes a lot of that to Ana. Having someone who understands your own hurt on such an intimate level can make all the difference, and the mutual support they share has been integral to keeping her going. She does indeed have a number of Ana's glass figurines, and decorates every nook and cranny she can with them. There's also at least one she keeps with her to remind her that when her sorrows are the greatest and coping is at it's toughest, she always has someone to reach out to, a friendship that will always keep her going.
"You have survived the pain. You can survive the recovery." Connected by the worst possible fate - left widowed and anguished in the aftermath of the Iho Palla outbreak. Ischade was a balm for her soul no matter their mutual mourning and Anna appreciates her continued correspondence. The woman has a small collection of trinkets and gifts and Ischade has probably accumulated enough glass figurines from Anna to fill an entire cabinet.
