"...Well, t-this is.... This is kinda.. A-awkward.."
Admittedly doesn't fully remember Damascus when he DID work for him (but knows him pretty well from the files made on him after..), leading to Caesar being VERY worried and apologetic towards Damacus for. Well. How he was. What if.. They met up.. And became friends... Haha just kidding!! Unless... (flushed emoji)
modeled for caesar's agency until being cursed and consequently fired. sure hopes he doesn't run into caesar for any reason that would be crazy! they'd have to confront their past and new circumstances and the ways they have both changed! and maybe become....... friends......? :flushed:
"Always, if you need any of my help, do not hesitate to ask. I hope you stay safe in all of your endeavours."
Of all the hitcats, Sig does seem to find a lot of herself in Seven: the understanding that greed and cruelty is what drives the both of them to do what they do, and the passion they both have for finding justice, even if, said justice is accomplished in more.. Uncanny ways. As a result, Sig also understands Seven is one of the far more independent of her hitcats, especially due to his own ambitions- if anything, she wishes he stays safe himself in his own endeavours, and is always happy when he comes around.
"Keep up the good work, 2, but ensure you don't strain yourself too hard."
Sigrid is well aware of Two's mild nihilism, especially due to their situation: as a result, Sigrid is sure to try and encourage them, as well as acknowledging that Two's feelings are fully understandable, considering their situation. However, she mostly allows for One to act more- her reserved nature isn't as effective in terms of bright, frequent encouragement versus something more subdued.
"6's work is impeccable. Her skill is undeniable, as well as her steadfast attitude. However, I do believe that she often holds back on how actually comfortable she feels- as a result, I do my best to try and give her the space she needs. Anyone else should do the same."
Sigrid has a great amount of respect for Six- especially due to Six's past, Sig tries to ensure that Six feels welcome, but also comfortable. This includes giving her space, but always being an open ear for Six- of course, since the hitcats are a weird family of sorts, avoiding discomfort isn't always possible, but Sigrid tries her best.
"Four is a beloved member of my hitmen, and anyone who misjudges them has an incredibly poor taste of character. They're delightful."
While Sigrid will never fully admit it out loud, she has a soft spot for Four especially due to their continued judgement from ongoing crowds (this is the same for every other hitcat, but perhaps more so towards Four as. Well. Four visibly looks scary). Often indulges in his jokes in her reserved but very loving ways. Baby boy baby.
Kira's eyes light up. "Have you SEEN Darius? That guy is TOTALLY PUNK. Comes to my shows, if you looked up PUNK in the dictionary this guy would have his picture THERE! He's gotta be nicer to himself, though. Guy is TRYING and that too? Pretty PUNK."
Darius's high energy feeds perfectly into Kira's, and the two are PUNK BUDDIES. She believes in the guy, especially regarding his insecurities around his curse, and often tries to encourage him when he's trying his best to be good.
Darius smirks. "It's not every day you find real punks and she's like a magnet. She's knows what she's about and she ain't afraid to say it." he hands you a hand-printed poster. It's got the next live BADDITUDE concert hours listed at a local nightclub. "But don't just take it from me. Let her tell you herself."
The two of them are an unstoppable storm of (perhaps oft misdirected) energy and get up to equal amounts of buffoonery and mischief. Kira's one of Darius' most dependable friends and he'll often turn to her when he needs to be reminded that being a good person doesn't mean he has to abandon his personal values.
"...I-I can do this. I have to."
(Pity doesn't really like Laz- she is fully creeped out by them and their actions, but all the same does her best to work for them (unfortunately). Still easily repulsed by their.. More scary tendencies.)
One of the nephs absolutely dragged on Cherry's show- their show may have very well been the catalyst for someone to get the motivation to curse Caesar. Of all the things to hit Caesar leading towards his fall from grace, Cherry's show was one of the more influential- despite this, Caesar holds no anger towards Cherry (he in fact, believes they're right); if anything, Caesar is afraid of them and their fanbase, even in the present.
"Poor girl.. I often catch her skittering around as if someone's going to pounce on her at any moment. I know she used to work for the modelling company... It'd be rude for me to dig into it too deep, but I have a feeling something happened. Things just seemed to happen there, constantly. I hate to say 'that's just the way it was there', but it really was just how things operated in it. I'm glad she could get away from the system like I did."
"W-WHO? WAIT, is she the one who sent that one cat ONTO MY ROOF IN THE MORNING WHO SAID HE HAD A HIT ON ME? I-I... I know I did some bad things, but that's a LITTLE bit too far, d-don't you think..... P... Please just let me sit here and think about what I've done... It's already a lot to handle...."
"The exact type of savnic filth that I've had the misfortune to live through myself, but.. We actually had an order on him, but apparently now he merely hides and cries, and in spite of what he's done to others' sense of self worth, compared to others... If only everyone like him could have any sense of self-reflection. Some part of me even sympathizes with the state he's in. Ironic, isn't it."
"W-who?... I.. Know that probably doesn't help my case at all.. But in complete honesty, I really didn't keep track of my models beyond 'bad' and 'workable', which. Oh, on the gods, why couldn't I just be better than this?!... This is exactly what I deserve.. I was always an ugly monster, even before this.. I'm sorry. I really am. It's probably too late for that."
Rye's one of the few people that can probably get close to Caesar (literally) in the present- Caesar's always cared for Rye even when they were young, and was incredibly quick to defend Rye for her choices, even before everyone else did. Often feels indebted to Rye for her kindness, of which she insists is simply out of care for him (and it is!) in spite of who he is (was?). Adores her poems, even if he doesn't talk to her about it.
"I'll send you a care package. Please don't forget to eat, this time."
Rye cares deeply for Caesar as he was truly one of her only genuine friends when she was set to inherit the company that he in turn would inherit. While she doesn't regret her choice at all, she does regret the person Caesar became, especially because she remembers how kindhearted he was when he was younger; often cursing out that he took the hit of the burden for her. Often sends him food and care packages now as she knows he rarely leaves the house and does the bare minimum to take care of himself..
"Frequent supporter of my textiles. Always leaves a tip. I'm ever so impressed by her dedication towards genuine charity work. Oh, if only I could have seen her shows when they were airing..."
Sig's one of Rye's most frequent/reoccurring customers; the two met through the general rich and powerful meetups that are oh so common in Savnic. Wishes she could've seen some of Sigrid's shows when she actively sang, but enjoys her patronage to her craft. Completely unaware of anything Sig does beyond their professional patron/artist relationship.
"Her textiles are some of the most skillfully made that I've seen, and as someone who is well aware of the nature of Savnic... I can applaud her decision to get away from it, if not having wanted to follow that path myself, once..."
Respects Rye greatly as an artisan and as someone who got out of the endless cycle of Savnic fame and corruption, and owns quite a few of her textiles (often wearing them as scarves). Has no clue that Rye is also 'LIEF'- has consumed a few of her poems without knowing that LIEF and Rye are one and the same.
"ANY FAN OF MINE IS TOTALLY PUNK!! Medusia has TOTAL rock vibes!"
Incredibly, incredibly happy to have a loyal fan. Has given Medusia quite a few of her shirts (of varying quality of design) because 'even though it's merchandise IT SHOULD BE FREE BUT WE HAVE THE SYSTEM'. Reads her blog, even if she personally doesn't believe in the supernatural (but enjoys Medusia's enthusiasm).
(DMs Toby her less than amazing lyrics at 4 am just to purposely annoy him)
Sees Toby as a rival since his entire shtick is lovesongs versus her anti-love punk rock songs, but also respects him as a spinx, and even though she'll never admit it since they're RIVALS TO THE DEATH, thinks of him as a friend, even... She tries to annoy him to no end as a result.
(Responds to the DM with "Nice! <3" when he wakes up in the morning)
Thinks Kira's 4am messages and rival attitude with him is just her way of showing affection, so he plays along with the whole rival thing, its pretty fun anyways and gives him someone to talk to.
Lulu wouldn't admit it, but she looks forward to Lena's visits and is delighted that she has become a regular of the humble little store. She often asks Lena to taste test her latest experiments and creations, but in reality, Lulu has already done rigorous testing to make sure they are perfect by the time Lena comes in.
"Oh, well, by now I'm practically a regular at her bakery! It's one of the few places I can just.. Relax and be me, but.. Well, the thing is, Lulu's incredibly cool.. I don't want to mess up in front of her.."
Occasionally, Lena actually manages to get to her smaller vacation home on Rosemoon, and due to a fateful bout of power loss, she ended up going to Lulu's bakery to wait it out. Ever since, Lena frequents it to buy her usual, but perhaps she's also there for other reasons, too..
8's sigh hangs heavily on the air, an eyeroll evident only on his voice. "Fiiiiiiine, whatever you say Mom." 8 was rescued from a difficult predicament and initiated into Sigrid's squad of Murder Men™ with no difficulties. His noncommittal, slippery nature made him perfect for the job. In spite of his evasive personality, Sigrid finds no issue relying on him for a clean kill and a job well done. He's as loyal to her as it gets-- his life has only improved since his "rebirth" and he owes her a veritable amount. 8 would sigh, griping and playing up an "inconvenienced teenager" attitude towards her, but it's to mask the genuine emotion he feels towards her-- something that isn't common for the morally and emotionally bankrupt assassin.
"Eight, don't forget to be careful with the people you flirt with. Not only for our organization's sake, but... For your own."
Sigrid's Eight's employer within the hitman business, and granted him his faceless curse, as well as picking him off the street and granting him enough funds to rise in society. While Sigrid often sees Eight as one of the rowdy of her hitmen, she's very fond of him in an almost motherly way. She's one of the few people not afraid to criticize him when he acts out, and can be seen very occasionally as a patreon of The Cue Ball.
"A loyal servant of the gods, of course. Who wouldn't enjoy the company of another who seeks to further eliminate the deep sin within us? It's quite obvious why I keep them around." :)
A fellow 'servant of the gods' underneath the 'church' system, and essentially, third in rank behind him and Veri. Fully understands the feelings of self-loathing Prom goes through, but hates that within himself, which... Makes him often send them out on missions as a glorified errand runner. Neil should not have met them because Neil is not a good cat but here we are (pensive emoji)
Elohim seems to steel themself at the mention of 8. 'We can co-exist.' they sign, with an incredibly cold and calm air to them. 'I don't respect their actions- but I'm not a fool, and as long as no one I care for is harmed, again- we can co-exist.'
Elohim, in completely honesty, dislikes 8 and his squadron for their actions- randomly taking down people who may be completely innocent goes against their moral code. Given the chance, if they could take all 10 of them down, they would, but. There's 10 of them and 1 of Elo. Out of all of the 10, Elo tolerates 8 the most, even if they keep him at a distance.
8 laughs-- a pilloried guffaw. "It's sad they turned down the opportunity of a lifetime, but I can admire the steel nads the fella had to say a solid 'no' to a whole squad of assassins. There's a reason we asked to begin with, after all." He pauses to polish off his martini. Even without a face, one can gain the sense that he is smiling anyway. "They know what's at stake if they mishandle what they know, and I don't think they're stupid enough to. We'll see though; sometimes even I am taken by surprise."
