The start of a new acquaintanceship. Maybe.

"I love you, Cinder," Ophilia whispered softly into Cinder's ear as she tucked her hair away from her face. "I want you, Cinder."

Shortly after her high school graduation and 18th birthday, Ophilia is asked by her father to join the chasseurs. She has some uncertainties about doing so.
