She and Kagi get along well. Akiko does not see them as often as Yusuimaru, but they are always a delight to talk to when she pays a visit to the detective office they work at with Mari and Yusuimaru. It goes without saying that she falls victim to Kagi’s teasing much like her sister when she first started working with them. She calls Kagi “Katoru-kun”.
When Akiko decided to pay Mari a visit one day, they were shocked to learn that she had an older sister, since Mari doesn't mention Akiko at work. Whenever she visits, they make it a habit to come out of their office and say hello to her. They occasionally flirt with Akiko, despite her being unaware of it.
After Yusuimaru and Mari started dating, Mari introduced her to Akiko. Mari was not sure how well Yusuimaru and Akiko would get along, but after a few visits, she was pleasantly surprised. Since they were in the same age group and had similar interests and hobbies, they were able to get along well. They sometimes go out for drinks together. She calls Akiko by her first name.
Shortly after Mari and Yusuimaru started dating, Mari introduced Yusuimaru to Akiko in an attempt for Yusuimaru to get to know her older sister, the only relative that she still considers family. To both Akiko and Mari's surprise, Yusuimaru grows quite fond of Akiko. They are both close in age and share a similar background, which allows the two to bond. As time passes, Akiko comes to think of Yusuimaru as family, and sees a part of herself in her. She calls Yusuimaru by her last name.
It's not an understatement to say that after knowing Kagi for nearly five years, Yusuimaru considers Kagi to be her best friend. She calls Kagi by her first name.
Not to brag, but Kagi believes they're the person who knows Yusuimaru the best. Both of them have known each other for quite some time. They still remember her first day on the job, and how different she was back then. Kagi is always the first person Yusuimaru turns to when she has a problem. She has always appreciated how they are a good listener. She calls Yusuimaru "Ko".
Though she received a fair amount of teasing when she first began her job, she and Kagi get along well. After all, she owes them for being a wingman to her and Yusuimaru. They probably wouldn't be dating if Kagi hadn't intervened. She calls Kagi by their first name.
Mari was also a new hire that Kagi had to break in, although she was not as shy as Yusuimaru was when they started working together. She was much easier to mess with than Yusuimaru, however. Though tough love was never Mari's thing, she appreciates their help with getting closer to Yusuimaru. They call Mari by her first name.
Mari's older sister. Despite being embarrassed by her sister's affection towards her at times, Mari cares about Akiko in just the same manner. She is overprotective of Akiko to an extent, saying "If you're mean to her, I'll kill you". Strictly calls Akiko "Nee-san".
Akiko's little sister. She watched Mari grow up and practically raised her when she was a teenager, so it's no exaggeration that Akiko has a lot of love for her. Their relationship is a little rocky since the two moved out of their family home, but they're slowly growing closer together since they start seeing each other again. She kept a lot of Mari's old sketchbooks and looks through them when she feels nostalgic about their childhood, much to Mari's dismay. She calls Mari by her first name.
It was love at first sight. She finds Yusuimaru extremely physically attractive and is deeply concerned about her well-being. Coincidentally, mauve, Mari's favorite color, is Yusuimaru's eye color. She and Yusuimaru are on a first-name basis with each other.
When Yusuimaru and Mari first met, Yusuimaru was a bit standoffish, but as the two worked together more, she began to feel Mari's affection for her and reciprocate it as well. Slowly, she let go of her fears of getting close to people and let Mari into her heart. Now they are happily dating and couldn't imagine life without each other. She and Mari are on a first-name basis with each other.
