Mizuki holds his younger brother dear in his heart. Despite Haruki having been adopted, Mizuki treats him no different than if they were related by blood. At first in the temple that Mizuki practices Buddhism, there seemed to be a prejudice against Haruki being Mizuki's younger brother because of his raven-like wings. Many of them were fearful and tried to ostracize Mizuki because of their worries, but it did not take long for him to silence those fears and bring them back to reason stating simply that they should not judge a book by its cover since even despite Mizuki's secrets he had been accepted as a monk among them. Mizuki cares a great deal for Haruki and would give every last koku he had just to ensure his brother was safe, had food in his belly, a warm roof to sleep under and most of all his happiness.
Haruki looks up to his adoptive big brother figuratively and literally LOL. Haruki holds Mizuki in high esteem and works hard to show his love and devotion to the man and to make his brother proud of him. Haruki hopes to grow up to be just as awesome as Mizuki is. He likes to spend time with Mizuki and happily accompanies and watches his brother at work being awesome~ LOL
Pochai never really saw Haruki as a threat, maybe a bit misguided and confused, but certainly not hostile. With that in mind, Pochai decided to befriend him and with his undeniable charisma the little Lunaith was able to bond with the exorcist and the two have been sharing cute misadventures ever since.
Haruki was at first uncertain and wary of Pochai and his abilities, but some tasty bread and cookies and a friendly and sweet Pochai later, the two have bonded quite strongly. Haruki is happy to have someone (kind of) around his age and enjoys their adventures...as well as perching on Pochai as a birb and Pochai's cooking LOL!
Kongiku greatly appreciates Haruki's care for him. He holds his master in high regard due to the patience and love that he has bestowed the ornery fox. He cares deeply for Haruki and would fight to the death, not because of the contact but because he considers the boy his family and wants to put a smile on his face (though frequently only tries with minimal effort).
Haruki cares for Kongiku greatly and views him as a family member, and he does his best to take care of the fox, reining in some of the more impish impulses, while also doing his best to be a good master. Haruki can of course get fretful, irritated, and upset when Kongiku is being very rude and/or lazy, but still loves him lots and lots!
Mizuki appreciates Daiki not only for his loyalty towards himself but also his loving devotion towards his younger brother Haruki. He trusts Daiki to tend to the little crow boy like he would a relative. Mizuki values Daiki's advice and opinions and treats the him like his right hand man.
Kongiku finds Daiki annoying because he is too "stiff" and too S T E R N. It is quite frequent that the fox will try to sneak himself and Haruki away from Daiki's presence but for some reason it doesn't seem to be hard for the man to find them both much to Kongiku's dismay...
We believe he is an interesting subject and very fun to play with. He is also attractive but for some reason he does not appear to be interested in our affections... more tests of temptation must be run.
I enjoy their presence when they are engaged with my hair or reading my poetry and being passive, but everything else is startling and confusing to me...are children like this? It is so exhausting and they have a concerning interest with my body as well...perhaps I should cover myself up in their presence...
