I've thought about changing the codes that my Deckrealm characters have recently because honestly it's fun trying out new codes and also it might help motivate me to redo some profiles. I've found one that I really like and I decided to try using it on Tucker, one of my newest characters atm. His profile is still a WIP because I haven't added backstory, trivia, or relationships yet but how does it look so far? Do you like it more than the original code I've been using? (Examples with that one include: Charlie, Mac, and Mr. Bellamy) 

Anyway, I'm just curious cause now I'm considering changing all the Deckrealm characters to that new code but at the same time hmm...

I like it a lot more now I think, it feels a lot more organized with all the characters in their own section (because technically they do have separate stories so it made sense) and while I was at it I changed all the sidecharacter tabs into characters. Anyway, expect more characters uploaded soon. I should get around to doing that.

Don't worry, I don't plan on deleting them or anything. I'm mainly just doing this to free up some space on my account and currently Runaway is on pause so it made sense to private all the more minor characters for now. (Also I don't want people clicking on all and seeing hoards of Dialians lol, it just makes me a little embarrassed) The ones I'm keeping up are Brooke, Oliver, Sheldon, Elliot, and Rhinehart because they're more important to the story.

Oh and also I decided to private Paul, Just, and Steal because I'm not really using them atm.

Hey so small update on stuff, I've slowly decided that Deckrealm probably won't be an RPG-style story anymore. There won't be any universe-wide protagonist and the character will act more like their own separate stories. Originally I had Erin for this, but as I've made more characters I've realized I haven't had Erin play a role in any of their stories anymore. Their purpose kinda became obsolete so I'm deciding to scrap that idea for now.

That being said, Deckrealm is still just a for-fun thing. I don't expect anything big to come out of it, nor do I expect myself to make 50+ Cardfolk characters. I just like writing about and drawing the characters from it and making little stories for them. I've noticed over time that the whole Cardfolk thing has slowly become irrelevant for the characters. I've sometimes considered voiding the whole thing and having them all be in their own little universes, but at the same time, that would be a lot of work and rewriting characters. There'd have to be a reason several characters were adopted, or how several characters don't have kids, y'know? 

So uh yeah, that's basically it. The Deckrealm characters are more like their own separate stories at this point, and the whole thing is for fun. Thanks if you managed to read through this whole ramble.

Hey! I just wanted to make a small update cause I'm adding new info to some of my character's profiles. All Deckrealm characters are getting an "appearance" section now to their profile! So far Mac, Delilah, Dendley, and Dr. Marvello have one but I plan on getting around to all of them soon. I guess it might feel a little redundant to go in depth on their look when they already have reference photos but it also goes into build and stuff. Oh and I also wanted to add that I'm changing all the side characters in Mac's tabs to have the same code as any other Deckrealm character which so far only applies to Delilah and Dendley (the latter of which I haven't finished yet) but I plan to do Jack and Duke once I finally get off my butt and develop them.

Anyway that's all I really wanted to say. Over and out.

I just wanted to give a small update about a recent change I've decided to make that you might've noticed. I set a good amount of characters to be viewable only by me, mostly characters that I am not using at this current time or want to rework. This isn't a decision I was happy to make, but I feel like it was for the best. Do note that I am still keeping all these characters on my Toyhouse and don't plan on deleting them. If you need to view any of them for whatever reason feel free to dm me! 

Anyway, I think I was just mainly getting tired of people favoriting or forum game-picking characters that I drew once a year ago and never again. Of course those people wouldn't know any better... so that's why I decided to private them. 

On other news, I wanted to mention that stories like Elemental Tales and Runaway are currently on hold until further notice. I'm still gonna keep most of the characters from them up, but right now Deckrealm is the only thing I'm really focusing on. Admittedly it's sort of a case of me falling out of those characters, and it might pass over soon, but until then I can't promise any updates, sorry. Stories that were privated entirely like the Duskky story and video game idea might be cancelled but I don't know for sure. For now I just wanted to let everyone know of the temporary cleanup.

Hey everyone, you probably noticed that I changed my username just now. I'm deciding to experiment with new usernames a bit and see how I like this one. I've wanted to change it from StormoTempest for a while, anyway, but I'll still probably be "Tempest"! I guess you probably wouldn't be surprised to know where I got Wingspan from, though...

This is slowly becoming my whole personality help.

I don't hate the username, but I just feel like it doesn't stick, y'know? Until further notice I'll keep it as it is, but as another test I just want to hear your opinion once again.

I haven't really worked on it at all recently, and admittedly, part of me is kinda thinking of taking the video game idea (one with Spike and all that) and sort of... cancelling it? Or at least just not developing it further. To be totally honest I just haven't felt much interest in it or any of its characters for a long time now, but don't worry too much. I might end up reusing some of the characters for Deckrealm or maybe another project, and I've definitely had my eyes on Dorado in particular. (Maybe expect him to get some cool drip if I end up using him for Deckrealm, hehe)

Also, speaking of Deckrealm, I might end up turning the concept into more of a visual novel than a battle-based RPG. So instead of pixels, it's probably gonna be all 2d digital art, and most of the focus will be on reading with the occasional choice and point and click exploring mechanic. In other words, it's just gonna be a whole lot easier for me considering I have no coding experience, lol. Anyway don't expect this to be totally exact cause I'm still VERY far from completing all the characters and obviously it's still an "if I make it" and not "when I'll make it" thing. But for anyone who was curious about it by the tiny chance it does get finished in the distant future, I just wanted to throw it in here. Until then, cya guys! And also happy Pride Month!
