Judy loves Adam the most of her siblings, often getting him to watch movies with her and pestering him for attention. She knows that Adam will do most things she asks of him, begging him to let her visit toy shops or parks with him. She likes watching Adam draw and will sometimes draw pictures for him at school, as long as Adam keeps the bad dragons away from her.
Judy is Karl's biggest fan, constantly wanting to be with him and have his attention. She shares most of his interests and loves playing with him and spending time with him. However, Judy is aware that Karl is a pushover and will often cry and scream to get what she wants from him, guilt-tripping and making life difficult for him. Nonetheless, she's always affectionate towards him and will eventually listen... if she wants to.
Ivy and Judy are too similair to get along, always arguing and winding each other up. Judy wants to be prettier and smarter than Ivy, seeing her as her competition and wanting to 'beat' her. While this persists as a child, Judy begins to get on Ivy a lot better as she grows older and wants Ivy to teach her about make up and clothes and boys. She has a habit of 'borrowing' Ivy's clothes and wanting to go wherever her older sister is going, eventually viewing Ivy as very cool.
Holly and Ivy are never assumed to be twins due to their contrasting looks and personalities. Holly often finds Ivy annoying, just wanting to preserve animals in peace without her sister whining that they're scarying away boys or too gross to make acceptable bedroom decorations. Their interest in science is one of the few hobbies they share in common, and Holly can appreciate her sister's intelligence and input on situations. For the most part, Holly gets on well with her twin and even indulges in their 'twinspeak' language and will often take Ivy's side (although this is because Holly sees it as the least taxing option).
Holly knows that she can easily manipulate her father into giving her what she wants, opting to wait patiently for him to fold. As well as being the obvious push-over parent, Karl is good at offering the emotional support that Holly finds awkward to ask for, often seeking out her father when upset or tired. She has fond memories of him reading to her before bed and has always been keen to watch him cook, learning a few things from him in the process.
Adam and Holly have a good relationship with one another, mostly due to the fact they're not often the ones in trouble or causing trouble. That said, Holly will often go along with Ivy's schemes and defy whatever instructions Adam is giving her as she knows that Ivy's wrath is far worse than Adam's. She isn't particuarly scared of her old brother and isn't beneath guilting him into taking her to the museum or buying her new bug magazines. On the other hand, she likes playing video games with him and will bring back dragon toys and figures from wherever she wanders off to.
he loves her he thinks shes the bees knees but hes dumb and only thinks he likes her platonically :/
Jack is Jovie's previously estranged father. Though she has wanted to meet him since she was a teenager, her mother only agreed to give her the information once Jovie was old enough, cautious that Jack wouldn't be interested in learning about the daughter he'd never known. i have to talk to adrian but it was probably awkward for the two of them at first, but now that they've gotten to know each other they get on fairly well, and Jovie even works as a bartender at his gay bar when she isn't at her other job.
Charlie is Aislinn and Allistar's boyfriend, a few years older than her but dramatically less mature. She tries to support him while also nudging him along in the right direction, but doesn't want to end up naggy or annoying to him, either. While she doesn't understand his social anxiety very well, she does her best to help with it, whether it's talking to cashiers so he doesn't have to or holding his hand when he gets nervous. Eventually when her parents kick her out, Ace goes to live with Charlie in his apartment.
always has his order ready when he sees him come in but wtf is his name. why cant he remember. wtf
Allistar is Aislinn and Charlie's enbyfriend, only one year above her--they even went to high school around the same time and vaguely knew each other while Allistar still went. As with Charlie, Ace does her best to be supportive, and makes sure she and Charlie attend every comedy show Allistar puts on as long as she can get it off work. He seems the most laidback of the three of them, and is a good balance to Aislinn's drive and ambition and Charlie's nerves and reluctance, keeping either of the two from overwhelming the other.
