Sorry to pop in suddenly but your post in the husbando thread--omfg KHR is like my fav anime. Not for any huge reason like 'oh the writing is the best, the characters have the best depth i've ever scene' its just...personally my fav. The one i spazzed the hell over when it came out and shared it with as many people as i could.
Hibari is too hot.
Oh my gosh, literally same here?? What makes me love it so much is the characters, like you said it's not like their personalities or development is extraordinary or anything-- I just genuinely get all happy and giddy whenever I see them. I MOST DEFINITELY DID THE SAME THING, AS SOON AS I GOT INTO IT, I SHARED IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

Ugh I knoooow, I was sad when it ended because I dreaded the fans moving on and the fandom losing strength with the lack of new content. It's hard to spot us fans because we scatter to the for winds after a while. I mean at the same time, I get it and appreciate even that Akira ended it when she did. The story arcs were very by-the-book shounen, at least as far as that whole 'fight an enemy, they become allies to fight the big bad in the next arc' thing went, it could only happen so often before the plot would dry up. She had a set story and she completed it. I can't complain. But man I enjoyed watching those characters interact. I really gravitate towards mafioso/family group type of setting-- even if they went about it in this more innocent, super powered way than reality, lol. Vongola famiglia was my life for those few years. I just wish the anime had covered all of it past the future arc.
I dunno if you're into Boku no Hero Academia but if you are--doesn't Deku remind you a bit of Tsuna? xD The 'loser' beginnings, the nickname to match, practically has this alter ego attitude when he gets serious. Makes me want to re-read/watch KHR all over again~
Hibari is such hax, lmao. The main thing I loved about him is that 'trump card' was like his middle name. He was so entertaining. I know he's husbando material for sure, but was he your favorite? It's so hard for me to choose but I was always fond of Gokudera and his antics. I love dudes with the rebel image who are actually pretty intellectual. As far as the girls I thought Chrome was precious.
HONESTLY COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT BETTER MYSELF, I FEEL THE EXACT SAME WAY LOL. Yea, it is sad to see it end but it's always a good idea to not drag things on. :'') I'm glad she still does things with the characters though, every now and then she draws them on her Twitter. So that's always a nice treat lmao.
BRRUUUUUH, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT WHEN I FIRST WATCHED BNHA???? xD Like Deku immediately made me think of Tsuna. The only major difference is that Deku is waaay more optimistic than Tsuna, poor baby is always like 'please no' at first xDD
Hibari is my favorite character~. It's funny because when I first got into it, it was Bel lol. But as I got into the series more, I just gravitated towards Hibari and he won my heart . Gokudera is amazing, oh my god. I love the dynamic between him and Takeshi (a.k.a cinnamon roll) lol. CHROME IS PRECIOUS AND BEST GIRL. Honestly there are a lot of great girls in the series, haha. I think, though, Chrome and Bluebell are tied for my fave gal. Bluebell is such a brat but I love her.
Omg why am I not following her on Twitter, I'll have to do that I'd love to see those. (I loved her style so much it's what lead me to watch Psycho Pass, moreso than the actual story.) I adore when creators still play with their characters after the story has ended. I couldn't imagine not doing the same thing if I had a finished series. Fanart all the time, lol.
I know, Tsuna was still in denial of his life even at the end, poor babe haha. Just all these allies and friends but didn't want the lifestyle cept no one was having it. XD There was someone on tumblr doing this crossover/mashup of them, dunno if you've seen them but it's they gave the KHR crew quirks and put them in the school. The interactions are hilarious and so believable.
BEL. He's arguably my favorite as well, hahaha. I just tend to put the Varia in a whole other category~ That prince is a madman and I love everything about him. Agreed about Chrome, I was so happy every time she pushed a little harder, got stronger-- and Gokudera's beef with Takeshi was always fun. Interactions between Dino and Hibari were A+ as well. (Ah Dino, you lovable klutz.) Also, the little animal companions from the future arc were the cutest little badasses.

Iiii don't really ship much in KHR besides, like, the kinda obvious ones? Like Tsuna x Kyoko, Lambo x Ipin and Hana x Ryohei. And even so it's not at the level of 'I SHIP THEM SM, THEY GIVE ME LIFE' rather on 'They cute, I dig it' x''D. But I do enjoy Chrome x Mukuro, if I had an OTP for the series it would be them lol. Oh-- I also saw fanart of Bluebell x Nosaru and was like 'that's pretty cute' so there's that kinda cracky ship lol. Shipping in KHR is not something I focus much on-- which is surprising because I love shipping lmao.

Thought about it some more and decided to not move my adopted chars after all, realized how much of a pain it'd be switching back and forth between the accounts to post on certain chars or what have you. I did, however, make a second account specifically for posting chars I"m selling/trading so they won't clutter up this account :) So it wasn't a completely fruitless line of thought! Realized I was being silly that worried about people sometimes liking a char I adopted over one I designed. In the end doesn't that just mean I have good taste in chars I choose to be mine? :D
Haha yea I suppose it actually would be a pain switching to different accounts. It's not like tumblr where you can have a side blog :x. But that's good you made a separate one for selling/trading! A lot of people do that I found out. Oh! Haha, well, when you put it that way then yea! Lol especially when you give them a story and people end up enjoying that. The design may not be yours but you played a big role in giving that character life ;3c
