About Me
Hey, I'm Am! I love fairy tales and weird abstract media. I am primarily on Tumblr, but I also have a Twitter, Instagram, and Deviantart, and I've participated in Artfight each year since 2020.
I've got a lot of OCs, but here are descriptions of my current favorite sets of 'em.
The House at the Hellmouth
In Ostwind, Kansas, three strangers—
Clove, a scatterbrained, cheerful wizard with an affinity for thread magic,
Ambrose, a cunning, chatty lich imprisoned for heinous crimes,
and Lucas, a stubborn, quiet human who can see the supernatural
—have, for their own separate reasons, been stuck watching over the sentient, ever-shifting Gray House.
Its basement contains what Lucas has nicknamed the "Hellmouth," a rip in reality that lets out strange phenomena and creatures, and they've got to make sure all of that nonsense doesn't get out and cause trouble in the town. It's such an inconvenience, really, especially when you can't see eye to eye with your roommates and all of you have something in your past that makes your one job more complicated.
Mirrorheart
A fairy tale retelling of The Snow Queen.
Artistically-inclined Glory and scientifically-minded Kain were best friends when they were children, but after a falling out in their teens, Kain disappeared.
He reappears years later, but it turns out that he's been under a strange curse. It has been kept under control by the mysterious mirror spirit Neve, who believes that she could dispel the curse if only she knew more about its origin. Glory, eager to get her friend back, volunteers to help him unravel the truth behind it.
Their journey takes them through a garden of memory, a city of dreams, and a prison of monsters, and it soon becomes clear that Neve herself is more deeply involved with the curse than even she knew.
