Neko finds Flick fascinating, given her mysterious origins, understated power and quirky personality - He feels somewhat indebted to getting to know and to try put Flick on the right track over the loss of her late clone, who he only knew to be so violent and aggressive because she had suffered under someone else.
Although he can tell Flick's more problematic nature seems to come a lot more naturally to her, he believes her to be relatively harmless, and at best, actually quite endearing and fun to be around! He thinks, given some patience and some guidance, he can fix her.
While Flick may not openly express admiration, she recognizes Neko as a valued equal and appreciates his attempts to push her in the right direction. Not that she doesn't also deeply enjoy making that as difficult as possible for him, even if it's a knee-jerk reaction to do so most of the time. She holds some level of respect towards him, evident in her typical Flick-brand bullying never touching anything that may genuinely upset him. She tries to elude to some grand plan being the reason she sticks around him but in reality, she just genuinely wants to be his friend and loves getting up to all sorts of hijinks with the guy.
Neko is angered and disgusted by Kriller. His quest for power has disrupted Neko's relatively peaceful life and is endangering the lives of innocents, and Neko will not stand for that.
Kriller sees Neko as nothing more but another overly-confident Neo-Human who's way too in over his head. Oh, Kriller, if only you knew...
Neko is somewhat afraid of Amber. He is unfamiliar with vampires, making being around her a new and uncertain experience. Given some time he should relax around her... Right?
For whatever reason, Amber does not like Neko. He just... irritates her.
Neko DESPISES Luke. He sees him as a prime example of the type of person who doesn't deserve to live. If he could, he might kill Luke.
Luke resents Neko for mirroring his upbringing, but turning out better than him.
Neko respects Matteo for his go-getter attitude, but can get somewhat irritated by his somewhat jokingly rude demeanour, though he also finds it endearing to a degree.
Matteo finds Neko's determination admirable, and respects him for his strength in the face of adversity. Secretly, Matteo would just like to be Neko's friend, hang out and watch TV with him.
Neko is somewhat intimidated by Joshin because of his appearance and abilities. Despite this, Joshin's relaxed attitude passes onto Neko, and allows Neko to more comfortably speak with him. Regardless, Neko feels the gap between them has opened too wide for them to truly connect as friends again.
Joshin is somewhat indifferent to Neko. After not seeing him in so long, Joshin does not particularly care if he's still Neko's friend, just that he can get along with him smoothly.
Neko loves Ditzy dearly, and has grown to do so in only two short years of knowing her. He feels proud for her to have developed into such a nice person and such a solid fighter under his guidance, but is ever so slightly jealous of her much more advanced social skills, though he holds no resentment over it.
Ditzy loves Neko only like only a sister can love a brother. She feels indebted to Neko for allowing her to stay with him and Jay, and appreciates his combat training, even if she doesn't intend to utilise it fully.
Neko is conflicted on his feelings about Gelly; He cares about her, but also feels lingering resentment for the fact that she left him and Jay to their own devices. Despite this, he also empathises with why she did what she did.
Gelly does indeed care about Neko, but she cares about herself more, and as such hasn't seen him in years. Because of the gap in time, it makes things a little awkward, but they still have the same friendly jokey dynamic they used to share.
Neko loves and appreciates Jay for all he's done to help him through his troubled upbringing, and is fully aware that he reciprocates despite his stoic demeanour.
Jay, despite seeming cold and uncaring, cares incredibly deeply about Neko, and would always try to protect him to the best of his ability. Despite this, he and Neko can easily disagree and argue with each other due to their conflicting personalities.
