Giants

A setting where humans and giants used to interact in ancient times but they parted ways for one reason or another. The two realms are isolated from one another, but there are some access points that are few and far between, very old, heavy gates that are difficult to open.

Giants are large, arcane beings heavily associated with their elemental affinities, the closer related to the source element, the stronger grasp on said elemental powers. Their realm is one of extreme elemental forces too dangerous for small, frail beings like humans.
