Spirits Are High as the Fire Roars...
"I wish..."
The light of the flames illuminates the night, reminding all who bask in it's presence the recent victory over the shadows and how bright the future to come is. Some use these moments to bitterly reminisce, placing pieces of their loved ones to be consumed by the flames and uttering their wishes to themselves, surrounded by all but in their own worlds.
"I wish."
Others use this wonderful opportunity to PARRRRRTAYYY!!! Some skip around the flames, squealing with delight as other jovial folks chase after them. Others sing folk songs or perform, sharing their talents for all the Square to enjoy, forgetting all about the rough work that is to come to rebuild their demolished city.  Some throw in random objects and make loud and equally arbitrary wishes to get rises out of those who hear. Regardless, the flame hears out all desires and wish every story, every hope, every prayer shared. It glows ever so brightly- until soon, beings start to emerge from the bonfire.

A rose fell into the fire. The petals suddenly curled into a rosebud as the flames spat it back out. The petals fell apart, dissolving into ashes. Inside the rose laid a small bear with two floating wings. The bear stretched its legs and stood before turning into a more humanoid form.Â

"For someone to bring clarity and light in a time of pain."
The flames suddenly roared, forming four purple eyes that seemed to stare back at the comfys surrounding the fire. A small wooden mask with four eyes of its own and four wings formed as a strange new comfy climbed out of the fire, complete with four arms. Someone really likes the number four, don't they?

"For those who search for the music in there lives find it and enjoy the dance"
The flame of the bonfire flickered as a soft melody started flowing through the warm air. Bare feet step out of the flame stumbling in the dirt. Their layered skirts swaying back and forth as they gathered their footing. They raise their head to present their full helm mask. A worn record player spinning a damaged record. The tune skips as they move to start dancing. Wanting to thrive next to the large fire.

Flames licked at the old butterfly plush that had been thrown into the fire, scorching it into ash. The fire pulsed with the wish of creativity, forming a soft pom-pom mask within the blaze. The newly-born Comfy's plush wings flapped as they escaped from the fire. The first thing they did was to stick googly eyes on their mask before going to find a new home.
