All Mother - The original Celestial whose passions and love for life spawned all Comfys; the creator of The Astral Pocket in which all Comfys reside.
Celestials (n.) - Mythical beings of pure light that reside upon a higher plane of existence; said to have collectively formed all aspects of the universe; possessing a particularly deep connection with, and also said to be, the stars.
Celestial Energies - The magical essence that originates from Celestials, composes all Comfys' cores, and found throughout the Astral Pocket's atmosphere. Trace amounts can be found in all things that originate from the pocket, and is an integral part of a majority of its ecosystems.
Core - The heart and soul of a Comfy spawned from the Flame of Passion; a Comfys body manifests around it. It will always give off warmth and light, which beings of negativity and darkness covet.
Core Exposure - A state in which a Comfy's core is visible and detectable by outside forces.
Corruption - The physical manifestations of a weakened or damaged core; the visible warping, withering, or distortion of a Comfy's form, often resulting from significant physical or emotional harm.
Creation Concept - The spawning quote from the core of a Comfy's creation; a Comfy's core purpose or belief.
Dismissal - The action of relinquishing the partnership between an individual and a Comfy; typically results in the Comfy going dormant for some time before reemerging with a renewed purpose.
Dormancy - A vulnerable period of deep sleep where a Comfy withdraws into their core, whether by choice or by necessity, often reemerging with a slightly different form and purpose than before and occasionally even as someone entirely new.
Extinguishment - The end of a Comfy's existence; when a core's flame no longer burns.
Flame of Passion - The grand eternal bonfire situated within Sanctuary Square from which all Comfy's are born. It's light wards away dark and malicious forces from the Sanctuary; said to be a fragment of a celestial's heart.
Masksmith - A specialized Comfy with the ability to make edits, adjustments, and repaies for Comfy masks.
Outer Realms/Worlds - Dimensions outside of the The Astral Pocket.
Partner - The individual a Comfy has formed a deep emotional bond with and seeks to improve the life of; the individual a Comfy is emotionally linked to.
Passion Token(s) - The Astral Pocket's universal currency; coins imbued with small amounts of celestial energy.
Shadows/Creatures of the Dark - Proper term for the monsters Comfys often come into conflict with.
The Astral Pocket - The Comfys' home pocket dimension; a world crafted by the All Mother specially for Comfys.
The Veil of the Cosmos - The universal blessing granted to all Comfys' masks that hides the presence of their cores by concealing its light and essence.
Uncomfys - A colloquial and mostly facetious term for the monsters and malicious forces the Comfys defend against.
