GENERAL

1. Comfys are an open species with a semi-open ARPG owned by Eyeris , however I do not claim any of the particular traits associated with them, simply the lore and my own artwork for them.^^ 
2. The species label is a formality, there is nothing wrong with creating characters of similar design to the species concept. Whatever makes you happy! That's the spirit of the species after all. The only restriction is that you won't be able to participate in the ARPG and certain events without an MYO with ML approval, but those who do not wish to participate in such things are free to do whatever they'd like!
3. The heart of this species is to make individuals and others happy and comfortable. Do not associate Comfys with hateful, problematic, discriminatory, and/or purposefully triggering content. Even designs for their creepier counterpart will not allow this.
4. All submitted designs will be listed on the official Masterlist! Questions and Concerns may also be sent either there or to the Discord! (The latter may be responded to faster)

MYO RULES

1. Common MYOs of this species are completely free! There are no slots or limits for them, users are allowed to simply submit common Comfys for approval to the Masterlist account or Discord whenever they'd like!
2. You will not be limited to creating characters even without an MYO within the community! Characters simply must be officially registered to the Masterlist in order to participate in the ARPG and certain Events. Feel free to submit unofficial designs to this world, I'd be happy to see them! They will be classified under "Community!" instead of "Registered"!
3. Higher tier MYOs and items that can be optionally purchased with money are merely for support. All Comfy content is entirely accessible through art, interaction, events, and raffles!
4. Please refrain from including/referencing directly from trademarked and copyrighted material when making a design. It's recommended to avoid directly attempting to recreate pre-existing characters altogether. Inspiration is perfectly fine as long as clearly identifying details are not included! We will request changes to designs being submitted to the Masterlist if anything is found to be purposefully trying to emulate an existing IP too closely. (This only applies to designs submitted for official approval) If the design is super simple in nature, with traits that can be easily replicated naturally, this can be reconsidered.
5. You may at any time turn an owned pre-existing character into a Comfy with an MYO (Including previously unofficial designs).
6. Comfys can be freely combined with other species if one so chooses, so long as it receives approval under both species' rules! Feel free to ask for clarification or advice when needed.

PURCHASE, RESALE, & RETRADE

1. Slots/Characters that have been sold can be resold, however its value must remain the same as when they were bought. Commissioned artwork and your own artwork may be added to value.
2. Slots/Characters that have been traded can be re-traded for anything you'd like. Gifts are preferably only re-gifted but we will not restrict trades.
3. If a Comfy MYO is used to create an AU or Alt version of a character, they can be separated from the original for the purpose of sales/trades/donations if alterations are made to clearly differentiate the designs from each other!
4. To officiate a character transfer, simply leave a comment on the character's Masterlist profile with the given form mentioning the new owner, and we will have it updated accordingly~
5. Items can be purchased/earned and gifted to other users as long as it is noted during purchase.
6. Special and free items from events may not be transfered or gifted unless stated otherwise.

REDESIGN

1. Minor changes in designs are allowed without notifying staff (Slight shifts in hue, different clothes, etc), these will not affect validity when submitting for ARPG prompts.
2. Larger redesigns must go through approval once again and have their profiles updated if the new design is to be utilized in ARPG events!
3. The redesign process currently needs an overhaul! They are free to submit in the meantime~
4. Changing the simplified version of a design does not require notifying staff unless it's to request its inclusion on the Masterlist. 
5. If a trait is unnoted on the ML and typically unseen, such as Halos, it can be freely depicted in any way a user likes.
6. Even after a redesign, the original designer of the character must remain credited!
7. Redesign requests & approval can be made to the official Masterlist account or the Discord~

VOIDING

1. If you'd like to officially remove a Comfy from the species, you may do so by notifying us!
2. Voiding is not necessary to use a character in personal works separate or deviant from Comfy lore, you're free to use the characters however you'd like!
3. Designs do not have to be changed when voiding!
4. To officiate voiding, please send a formal request to the Masterlist account with a link to the particular design, and we will update the profile appropriately. (The images will be removed and the profile will be noted as void!)
5. Art and other inclusions of voided characters cannot be exchanged for items and/or species currency.
6. They may be reinstated by future owners if they so choose! However they may not be reinstated by the individual who voided them within 2 months.

DISMISSAL

1. Dismissing a Comfy means relinquishing them to The Sanctuary, and letting them go to another soul in need of them. It's a way of donating a Comfy in the case you do not want or have use for them anymore, and would like to give them away to the community.^^
2. Dismissed Comfys will be redistributed for free in giveaways/raffles or possibly reemerge in other events in new ways! Until then, their cores will lay dormant within the care of the Sanctuary.
3. A dismissed Comfy cannot be reclaimed, so make sure you're absolutely sure before doing so!
