Trick or Treat 2023

My first time doing this event over here! I've done versions of it elsewhere, but this is my first year on th at all!

All you have to do is leave a "trick or treat" on this bulletin, and I'll randomize what your result is! Roleplay isn't required here, but if you do comment ic, I'll try to match you on that level! The chance for tricks vs treats is 50/50*! If you have a preference for which trick and/or treat, please let me know!

*allegedly, the odds are 50/50. been getting more treats, for some reason

Lights: OFF - till next October!

(health issues got me slow but I’m working on these!)

Tricks: 5 min doodle of one of your characters, left-handed doodle of one of your characters, meme redraw, one of your characters as a worm-on-a-string, or your character reinterpreted as candy >:3

Treats: genuine fanart of one of your characters, showering at least 5 of your characters with love (comments and/or faves), some sort of lil pet for one of your ocs, a character design based off emojis of your choice, or a short story about one of your ocs ! <3

Azure, dressed in a bat costume, cautiously approaches the door. Their eyes dart around, scanning their surroundings before they knock; they look tired but act alert and somewhat uneasy. They quietly mumble "Trick or treat", but it's a bit hard to hear. Even so, they try to keep their attention ahead of them, looking up at the door expectantly.

A little ray of sunshine wanders up to your doors, beautifully dressed up as a detective from the 1800's, dragging two behind her, a grey haired witch with a cat familiar hiding between his scruffy hair and pointed hat, his costume looks home made and a purple haired boy that your not quiet sure if they actually bothered dressing up or if they usually went around in jumpers with paws and ears on the hoodie, they're already snacking on treats they brought from home.

Lee knocks happily in a little tune against your door and hops on the spot as she waits.

"Trick or Treat!"

They chime horribly out of sync, Chompers only mumbling it past their half eaten candy bar as Lee nudged him gently.

Dustbrush nods his approval, as if their chant were a performance. "Splendid!" He passes candy to the trio, followed by gentle clapping as if applauding their costumes.

Lee smiled happily as Calypso's familiar glanced off slightly as he smiled sheepishly at the complements. Chompers mostly just stared at the praise.

It was amazing that Inferno even came out this year. It was usually Rocky and Ex. However, Inferno was a lot nicer than his partners despite being spoilt. He held his plain looking bag to his chest and stared at the door.

After getting over his doubts, he got himself to knock on this strangers door. The knock was barely a knock and was only done once instead of the usual couple. "Trick or treat."

Two Snaps in the Night WillBeRedeemed

Slightly struggling to walk as they made their way to the house, a somewhat short, humanoid... robot(?) would walk up to the door and knock-a hood over their head to protect their wiring from the small drizzle of rain that had begun. They seemed incredibly unused to this all-the walking, the bag holding, the general festivities of tonight, but they did seem willing to participate!

Once the door opened, they would hold their bag out, and speak in a very obviously glitchy voice. "Tri-r-rick or... treat-eat-eat?" They did hope they got the saying right, and that they'd not have points docked for unfamiliarity... were there points? They were unsure, but they hoped not. Keeping all those numbers in their head would be a hassle...

Happy Halloween! I uploaded the image with a request to the character's gallery, and I've got to say again, I was really amazed by the concept of Carousel Horses as ocs! It was the first folder I looked into and I was instantly charmed by them all, a lot of nostalgia for me (spent a LOT of time as a kid on carousels making up lore)
