After over a year of development, we are so excited to finally open ANATHEMA to the public. We are now accepting new member requests and character applications.
A thousand heartfelt thank yous to the incredible moderators, beta testers, and asset artists that made this opening possible. We have an expansive and exciting future planned for ANATHEMA, and hope you join us for the adventure!
Without further ado, here is what to expect out of ANATHEMA's beginnings:
💐 2/27 Feast of Flowering Event
- The Feast of Flowering is one of Ivras's most important holidays; this day of celebration and sacrifice spreads music and color all across the kingdom! This event will run from February 27 through March 31.
- Feast Day forum thread: Join your fellow Ivratians in celebrating the Feast of Flowering, and add your sacrifice to the bonfire to ensure a prosperous new year.
- Adoptable Mages: Five years ago, seven legendary heroes slayed a many-headed monster, and prevented Faline's destruction. One of those heroes could be yours, if you win one of these staff-designed adoptables!
- Story Prompts: Follow these "choose your own adventure" style art and writing prompts to difficult choices and exciting rewards!
- Raffles Aplenty: Celebrate the new Spring with a bounty of free giveaways in our Discord server!
🎉 Gameplay Features in Progress
- Shrine Quests: Complete a randomized prompt for the mysterious Patrons, and receive fabulous prizes!
- Spell Shop: Purchase scrolls for your mages that teach them new magical abilities to add to their arsenal.
- NPC Profiles: Learn more about the political leaders in Ivras, and how you can shape the world by manipulating the factions they represent.
- Monster Hunt Events: Join your fellow monster hunters in halting the destruction caused by nightmarish beasts. Race against time (and the crumbling goodwill of a kingdom) to save Ivras.
- The Book of Days: Flesh out your characters' stories by exploring Ivras's annual traditions.
- Mysterious Strangers: Rumors are spreading about strange people from faraway lands...
