anyway, I'm gonna try and crank out some art when the month starts! I find every year artfight helps me improve a bit because I just let loose and have fun with it. so we'll see what happens this year

yeah im conflicted too. I've noticed over the years the rules have become so crazy stifling. they've outright banned people for having villain characters, so i suspect I'll be on the chopping block at some point haha. they've even made it part of their TOS that they can stalk you online, not just on their site, but on other sites, to see if your fictional moral standards are the 'correct' ones. (basically you're at that specific mod's mercy, if they like you or not.
its red flags left and right, but i guess im a masochist because here i am still trying to use the site like a dummy. *unless they read this and find out i said i'm a masochist and thats breaking some rule...

and exactly, i saw that twitter thread about them bringing down the banhammer on someone who didn't even deserve it whatsoever, it's awful. i get tired of this policing, sigh. i try to avoid even talking about my characters on there now, or anything else really LOL, but the fact that they're like "yeah we updated our terms so you understand that we can snoop on you for no reason = )" is actually just.... whew lord. no words. especially when some of the staff is hypocritically consuming this content and keeping it mum lols.
