Ever imagine if your OCs/stories having fandoms?

This discussion is mostly inspired from this tweet:

I admit that I kinda thought of this a lot prior to this tweet or thread for funsies and such. That said, as in the title--do you ever just randomly imagine if your OCs or story having a fandom/fanbase...as in, actual fandoms you've know in any social media, etc? Regardless if it's a small or large one?

If yes, then who do you think will be the most popular character or ships? What kind of fanarts/fanfics or merchandises can you imagine? Running fandom jokes or memes? Any possible discourses? (Note: this is mostly for fun and jokes so please keep this thread civil even if we're mentioning this) ~~Who's gonna be the Komaeda or Sans of your OCs?~~

Again, this thread is mostly for fun so feel free to share some interesting thoughts or your "imaginary" situations in this as long as it remains civil and not break the site's rules (do censor any sensitive contents and such). I'd love to hear them, lol.

(If your stories happen to already have a fandom--do tell your experiences too, or share anything like say, you imagine if they were as big as mainstream fandoms, etc)

Edit: Expanding to the topic of creators' perspective--will you do any actions if things like this occurs (e.g. providing more contents for popular OCs, clearing any possible misunderstandings in fanbase?) or keep a blind eye on it? Feel free to share that as well!

I'll start, I guess?

Generally speaking, "shounen"-centric fandoms usually leave a bad taste in my mouth and sometimes the fanbase is too biased towards male characters and/or care too much about ships, so it's...kinda wild to imagine that, lol.

I'd guess the most popular characters would be Takuto or Ayumu (since they have these vibes of being likeable for some reasons?? and get picked a lot in forum games) or so. ~~Least popular would probably be Kiyo or Kazuki for certain reasons :3c~~

I don't want to delve much about ships since they're all underaged--but I guess I can expect a few or so. I can't imagine which are gonna be the most popular or least popular ones, though. _{I swear if I see any NSFW or anyone shipping characters that I obviously stated as siblings I'm gonna adfahgfda}

Merchandises? Oh boy, I can always self-print if it's a keychain or badge but I'll sell kidneys for a nendoroid or scale figs. Or even plushes.

Drama...eh, I guess the "funniest" ones I can think of is if the antagonistic characters being mislabelled abusive for doing their "antagonistic" things. I don't know if I want or do not want to think of more, but it's funny to think of it, at least-

I've imagined this before and holy fuck if my OCs had one it'd be so chaotic in some places hhh-

I am absolutely NOT sure what fanbase my characters would have asides from probably a chaotic one, oof... then again I'm bad at predicting the future so that may not count. I think the most popular characters would be Persona and Tsuko since they're the most faved characters in my TH, but then again Rezorin and Arsenic got a ton of faves within a few days, so they could probably have a shot.

I think the least popular would be Reuel, Mero and possibly Apollo since they're all trash lmao- jokes aside, Reuel and Mero are... NOT nice people, and Apollo's overprotectiveness and what stems from it could rub people the wrong way. Reina could also end up unpopular haha

(tw: bad stuff in shipping) I can probably see some shippings bUT I HOPE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THERE'S NO NSFW OF ANYONE UNDERAGED OR I'M GONNA REPORT IT SO HARD AND BLOCK THE PERPETRATORS- Sorry but yeah I don't wanna see my characters in NSFW situations because they're all close to me plus a lot of them look underaged hhh... also if someone ships 2 characters that are related or have an age gap, I'll scream, probably literally.

But some random ships I can see being popular would be Hermes/Raphael, Ater/Albus (i don't know ok), and... I dunno, that's it for now I think. I can probably expect those high-end uber epic fantasy fanfics on one end and then utter shitposts on another end since that's pretty much my universe in a nutshell lmao. There might be memes on how the characters can all kill you but they look so adorable or memes about their abilities, not sure about that though.

HOPEFULLY there'll be no discourse but if there is it might center around one of the more villainous characters, like Resuir for example? Not sure why I'd see it center around him specifically, maybe it's because of his personality type-

My friends and I post online about our World of Darkness (like D&D, but modern day and with vampires and angels and stuff) game every week, so we occasionally get fanart or people chatting about our characters! It’s really cool, and it’s mostly people trying to figure out what will happen next. Not a ton of shipping, but people do seem to really like nemesis/hateships. Or maybe they just like the villains best. XD So Maybe think about how people would speculate about what would happen next, or your villains getting shipped with the heroes? XD

I think there may be a bunch of opportunities to ship people XD I have a bunch of couples already that are canon but I feel like theres gonna be some interesting unpopular / non canon ships with their own mini cults haha. For example one of my romantic couples is Casanova and Helix, a sweet fluff couple ^^ But then I wrote this that has Casa's best friend Lysande and I've had a couple of friends say they wanna ship Casa and Lysande now xDD

Also in this folder, it's kinda set up like a date sim idea, and the MC Lucien has 6 people to choose from XD so that's fun. Who knows, I might get cute date ideas from this lmao. ~~And it will be quite obvious to know who my favorite ship for Lucien is :')~~

if my main story had a fandom, it would be a huge mess (fandom is just a huge mess in general) but like a fun mess, ya know?? i'd be really happy if a good fandom sprung up for jensen, i'd imagine it would gain popularity from live-action or animated adaptation :'0 i'd be the type of creator who interacts and jokes around w/ the fandom n such. i just hope that it wouldn't be made of too much weird shit/drama :O

i feel like everyone would be arguing over shoko's biological sex (though i already said they are biologically female)

Oh gosh, if Everly More ever got a fandom, I bet there'd be some sort of shipping wars. Especially with my main character, Sinthius. If not shipping wars then a lot of theories. XD I love series that put in subtle hints of foreshadowing.

as much as I want to feel appreciated, i would not want my creation to have a fandom, simply because of the gross art and ships that may arise
