2021 Finding Friends Master Thread

Hi, my name is Relta. I go by she/they and I am look for some people to talk to. I have really bad social anxiety, but want to meet some new people ;-;

Here’s some info on me:

I’m 19 years old (but still behave like 16, so I’m fine talking to 16+) and am asexual/demiromantic. I love to design/draw furries and monsters and have a borderline obsessions for characters with wings. I love playing video games as well and mostly play them on my switch (so if you wanna play Mario kart or smt) but I do have a ps4 as well. I’m maybe going to get into pc gaming too but I gotta see how quick my Laptop will meltdown first :’) I also love just talking about characters and developing stories for them, even tho I’m rubbish at writing. I’m fine with talking about other random subjects as well, as long as it isn’t anything heavily political or venting related.

Now, I am a very chaotic person that can’t write to save their life, so please have a bit understanding for that x). I’m also not the best at talking at first but once I get into the flow I should be good, especially if it’s a topic I’m comfortable with! Just as a warning, I have a tendency of not replying to messages straight away and I’m really sorry about that, so if I don’t reply after a day, just go ahead and spam me.

i really like to draw kemonomimis and / or monster-like characters, my toyhouse itself is a barren wasteland but you can check out the links on my profile page if you want to see the kind of stuff i draw. i doodle more than i finish things, but i'm incredibly particular about what i upload. oc rambling is very fun even though i'm really bad at coming up with stories for mine. i'd love to hear about yours!!

i like to play video games in my spare time although most of it is nintendo-related stuff, i rarely branch out nowadays but my favorite genres are puzzle, fighting, and racing! my favorites from those genres are panel de pon / tetris attack, rivals of aether, and mario kart wii / 8 deluxe. retro games are also super cool, especially anything on the SNES! there's also a special place in my heart for games like pokemon mystery dungeon, indie games like cave story, or RPG Maker horror games (yume nikki, mad father, ib...)

aside from video game nonsense, i really like ichthyology ( study of fish ) and entomology ( study of bugs ). i especially ramble on and on about deep sea fish, they are sooo cool and i absolutely love talking about them! other interests is plushie collecting, and kaijus. i have a lot of kaiju figures and knick-knacks, lol...

I have really bad anxiety, and I'm inexperienced with interaction. I was homeschooled and very sheltered all my life, I lived with a narcissist so I never really was allowed to grasp onto speaking and doing things for myself until I was 18! I promise that once you get to know me though, I think I'm pretty chill! c:

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I didn't start digital art until 2015, and I still wasn't able to draw much until I moved out in 2020. 

I also play a variety of games, whether on PC, Nintendo switch, Oculus VR or Play station. I play literally anything from Overwatch, to Animal crossing, to beat saber! I play a lot of games so that and drawing would always be a hot topic for me.

I also enjoy reading, as well as watching anime. (Although, I have a habit of starting series and then hopping to a different one..) 

I have 3 dogs, 3 snakes, and a tarantula. c: I love any and all animals (except for sloths... they scare me </3) but if youre uncomfortable with any of my pets, I will try not to mention them. (Unless we become really close, THEN I might tease you. xD)
