I paid for a commission in February. It's a simple sticker base-fill without any line change so should be fast? Yet I had to remind the artist twice about it, and they finally added me to their queue (because yep I wasn't even in their queue). Of course they added me at the faaar end of their queue after 12 other customers, so I have to wait for them to first finish commissions that were paid like 2 days ago.

It just feels unfair that I have to remind them every two months about my commission, just for them to finally put me after all the clients who paid after me.

^ nah that's shitty af. I can get forgetting something. it's human to make mistakes. But putting you at the very end after waiting months already is unacceptable. I'd be pissed too.

the effort is not worth it 🙄 well I guess I will still give it a try. should really have so sort of niche or something idk. But I don't like the limitations of it. it's hella annoying to me to draw and offer the same garbage all the time. so f** deal with it. at least check it out. do me that favor.

i don’t want to do this at all

I have been having such a hard time staying asleep at night. I woke up 5 times last night, it's starting to get out of hand now. Maybe there is some kind of underlying problem? I've never had this hard of a time staying asleep before

Someone walked up to me (metaphorically online) and said in all caps "DEAR LORD THIS DESIGN IS GOD AWFUL!!!" And then tried to say that they didn't have any ill will

I'm over it, I'm not hurt I was shocked more than anything but wow. 

People, PLEASE. Please pay attention to how old a character is and their body type. Please stop making 40-year-olds look like middle schoolers and fat guys look like twigs, that shit is mad distressing

v These are both so true. Like I'm a fat guy, I'll admit it, and it's damn sad to see people be like "Oh well not like it matters." It doesn't hurt to at least try, you know? At least put a little effort? I won't knock you down for trying, but I absolutely will for being so reluctant to at least attempting at things rather than what you are used to

I can not stand it when there is "no fat characters" "no muscular characters" in someone's description, because "it's ugly and it doesn't fit their art style". the same goes for elderly characters.

no bitch, it's because you can't draw them, not because they're ugly. drawing different body types requires practice. even more on how to build into your style.

I really hate it because whenever I get my bigger characters drawn.. they turn into sticks. Or my older folks turn into kids.. (i have this most commonly with raffles and free art, less with commissions) I'd rather you deny, or let me know you have absolutely no experience in it, than doing this... people never really go out of their comfort zone and mess ocs up just so it fits their same-same style details.  It at least seems intentional when this happens... like "well I'll just draw them like this it's my style" 🤡

^ i  feel the two posts above. every time someone draws one of my fat sonas, who are supposed to have my body type, as skinny it takes 6 years off of my life. i fear i won't survive this week
