At that point you gotta be aware, just please close your mouth it’s a huge bother

(This is not directed to anyone in particular, it just occasionally happens irl and I don’t have the guts to tell people to quiet down)

when someone says "I'll do it in a bit" and then they don't do it till like 

idfk 4 hours later or never in most cases

i see this a lot but
people who refer to other peoples races as "white/black" is my biggest pet peeve t b h
white is not a race
black is not a race
they are not races. they are skin colors (and... not even accurate, for that matter) and its a term that I usually see used to generalize or stereotype millions of people (usually stereotyping light skinned people these days).

relatedly: that people don't know how many vastly different cultures they are actually referring to when they use White and Black as racial terms. "White" people are not one culture and race, they are HUNDREDS. "Black" people are not one culture and race, they are also HUNDREDS.

How fucking dare people generalize any group based on skin color? How dare you erase the rich cultures and individuality of those people by lumping them all into two groups based on the amount of melanin in their skin?

Referring to anyone as "white" or "black" is racist and bigoted, don't @ me, you wont change my mind.

thankfully not an issue on this site but when people write in an extremely light colored text when the site's background is white

this peeve is really silly but whenever people leave the microwave with time still left on it? it makes people think that stuff is still heating up in there and i've seen a few people stand around a microwave waiting for it to change b4 someone says "oh i already got my stuff lol"

I’m no germaphobe by any means, but coughing into the open air crosses the line for me
