Anyway, so I think scars are cool. They can tell interesting stories. They add something to character designs that makes you want to know more about them.
Share any characters of yours who have scars here, and if you want to, explain how they got them! If describing anything gory/violent in explicit detail, or anything you think is potentially triggering, black out your text or use a spoiler tag.
Scars don't have to actually be visible in the character's art to count! As long as you know they exist.
Post as many times as you like, though do try not to fill up entire pages with just your posts.
ahh this is Leviathan...
He has self harm scars on his thighs, to remind me what i've been through. I'm still struggling a little, but things are much better, and Levi is my reminder. He's one of my favorites because he's connected to me much more. i think him and my other main oc Loki, are my mains because of their connection to me, as a person. Loki is my personality, except magnified to show the flaws, and Levi is my scars and shares the same petite body type.
Lucas is a part of a military-based organization type thing, and he used to specialize in training others of his species into combat.
he has numerous places with scars, mainly from training sessions and from one point in time where he was actually a leader of a squad in battle. he has a large scar across his left side up to his chest and down to his leg, that kinda forms like an X shape. he has smaller scars that are around the base of his neck and cuts along his wrists up to nearly his elbows due to his intense stress and anger.
another character i have who has a scar is Slinky, he has a face scar along the left side on his lip. he got the scar from defending his blind mother from a home intruder.
Shift here has scars across her nose from when she was once trying to scare the shite out of her counterpart Swift and instead got a nasty set of claws across her face. She deserved it tbh. She also almost got another set of claw mark scars across her eye when actually trying to apologize to Swift, but luckily those ones healed up better than the ones on her nose, and are only in like one of her art pieces lol
Also also technically she's supposed to have small scars on her neck, but I forgot about them for a long time so I guess they probably healed up too lmao- those ones she got when someone was sick and tired of her being an edgy lil brat and so they basically grabbed her by the throat with claws out.
So tl;dr, most of her scars are from times she pushed peoples buttons too much lmao
Sosthène here has some pretty nasty scars all over his body, gained from a lifetime of battling/leading a war, but his most prominent scars are some rather large ones on the left side of his face.
Those ones on his face, they were earned when he quite literally died :' ) Got into a fight with the big bad guy that the Gods told him to fight, and when both of them were at the end of their stamina/health, and the fight was getting down to the last hit, he had to block an attack with his sword, and it shattered, letting him get struck across the face so severely that it killed him, as well took out an eye, and cut deep enough to reveal his teeth, even when his mouth is closed. They ended up getting healed by the Big Bad when they revived him and corrupted him to then serve as one of their knights, but never healed enough to undo the damage that was done.
He prefers to keep his scars hidden by his helmet/mask, even though it's slightly shattered over his left eye, but it hides the worst of the scarring at least, poor child.
Ok so like in the rp I’m using him in(which is the best thing I have to a backstory honestly)he has so many fricken scars I’ve lost count...
Of yes he also has a curse devouring his body, very fun.(read his bio if you wanna know more I guess)
Warrens face and right arm are covered in scars from his attack by a were-hyena when he was a child. On his arm they're deep enough he can no longer use it for fine motorskills such as eating or writing.
Kane has SH scars on his lower arms, hips and thighs. He also has a mass of scars on his left shoulder / upper arm from when he fought the Rocket gang and some debris fell on him, half shielded by his Dragapult that also got injured and resulted in a scar.
He fought many battles, the scars in his face are from a fight against a werewolf. The many scars on his chest are from dragons, and other big cretures, the scars on his arms are from early sword fighting training, with real weapons, since he was a kid.
He also inflicts pain on himself to escape halluinations.
He has two noticeable scars on his torso:
one vertical incision on his chest (heart incision), and a second long vertical scar on his belly (starting just bellow of his sternum to his apendix).
One starts almost where the other ends, so it would almost look like it was a long single scar from up to the chest to the bottom of his belly.
Gruakae got the scar on his head back when he was first born as a mortal. He was actually born with a third, larger eye on his forehead which his family saw as a sign of evil and it was clawed out. This is part of what led to him just really hating Prudence (the god) along with his mortal life in general not being great.
Fun fact, though: he gains back the third eye in his Dark Realm form. Because evil.
ones on his shoulder/chest are from being in the wrong place at the wrong time, aka next to someone getting assassinated by shooters. he took three bullets, two in his shoulder, one which glanced across his heart. oh the drama. oh the poetics
a bunch other are from being being a dipshit and jumping into a river with pointy branches in it
Aleksandr has a lot of scars, spoilered for mentions of war, violence, self-harm.
His most notable ones are the scars on his face. They’re serve burn scars that actually extend down the left side of his torso and arm. He was trapped in a burning building after a grenade caused an explosion. He’s missing parts of his lips, some of his eyelid, and the tips of two of his fingers because of this. He was already a nervous and quiet kid and he ended up getting pretty badly bullied because of it.
He has self-harm scars on his arms. I don’t include them very often because he wears long sleeved things as he lives in a cold area. He was in a dark place mentally during his teens, partly due to bullying, the death of his sister, and his parent‘s treatment of him.
He also has a large scar on his abdomen when he was shot in WW2. This was his worst injury, but he has other scars from shrapnel.
On a lighter note, he has a lot of random cuts and scrapes from stupid stuff he’s done in the past. He has a faint one on his right cheek from where he fell down a small cliff because he wasn’t paying attention to where he was going :P
