My gal Hera definitely has the most physical scars of any of my characters. She was mauled as an adult

Anyway, so I think scars are cool. They can tell interesting stories. They add something to character designs that makes you want to know more about them.
Share any characters of yours who have scars here, and if you want to, explain how they got them! If describing anything gory/violent in explicit detail, or anything you think is potentially triggering, black out your text or use a spoiler tag.
Scars don't have to actually be visible in the character's art to count! As long as you know they exist.
Post as many times as you like, though do try not to fill up entire pages with just your posts.
Jet has the most visible scars out of my main cast and it doesn't help I have a bad habit of drawing them redder and chalking it up as inflammation lmao... I know artistic freedom is a thing but I'm slowly trying to start making his scars a little more rooted in reality haha as someone with a lot of scars myself I feel kinda disingenuous for drawing his the way I do
Wendigo is covered in scars, most of them from fights. He's quite proud of them and loves telling the stories of where they all came from.
When Marvin's right arm got paralyzed, his veins bulged outwards and some kind of demon magic scarred the parts of his skin where the veins were. The scars are oddly colored, a bright magenta, although it's hard to tell if it's like that naturally or because Marvin tattooed over them.
Most of my characters have scars because most of my characters are fighters! These three have the most.
Chiva is my baby girl and she is littered with battle scars. Most of them she couldn't tell you where she got them, but she has a kinda big one on her chest from getting hit dead on with a beam attack.
Tasu got nearly decapitated because she was an idiot. Now, she could have been healed completely without getting a scar, but she wanted to have it, to remind her to not be an idiot. She also has a lot of other assorted battle scars.
Frostedpond has a lot of battle scars as well, but she's a cat so they're all covered in fur. She couldn't tell you exactly where any one in particular scar came from but she can tell you an exciting story of battle regardless!
Samesies with Django Mori earlier: Uthek was living in the ocean wilds for a while until a monster did a BIG CHOMP and now he's got long-ass scars down his torso and shoulder.
His lower arm went with the monster, and now he has a sucky prosthetic made of beat up basalt so he can still swim straight.
Mini's entire tail is cobwebbed with scars and her hind legs/rump has several. These all stem from a car accident and are only included in one AU (sanctum). They're not visible in her art apart from the fact she has a stubbier tail than usual.
The copper stripe across the bridge of Tremor's nose is a scar he gets mid story :D
His whole shapeshifting thing means he doesn't really get dramatic scar tissue, his scales just grow back copper! I find it cute because you can see it even when he's not a dragon

Florence's family, except her father, were all killed in a brutal werewolf attack. She and her dad became werewolves themselves, and they have scars all over their bodies. Florence in particular lost an eye and has scars over the bridge of her nose, but there are of course other scars elsewhere.

Dante has a little literature that explains a bit about his scars, there is a bit more but yes, he has trauma and doesn't let any other than his adoptive parents and children touch him most of the time unless they gained his trust in the mean time
makia his scars aren't visible because i'm still working on him, but he has and not few. Since he fights to survive and lives alone, he isn't invincible so there are a bit of scars, specially from when he was younger and left alone to fend for himself
