For those who don't know, Artbreeder is a neural net that generates images. What kind of images? So many kinds. :0 :0 ever wanted to see your OC in creepy levels of photorealism? Have a whole new character generated for you? See what a cross between a hen and a praying mantis would look like? with a bit of time and alchemy, artbreeder's got you covered :O
It's wild the kinda stuff you can make here!! You might need to touch up the results in photoshop to do things like remove little bits of jank/add little details/correct colours, but apart from that I've found this thing massively powerful.

this this is POWERFUL stuff and what i've got here is just the tip of the iceberg
however: DONT upload someone else's art unless u have permission. Keep in mind that Artbreeder uses uploads to learn, and everything it learns is free for other people to use. The good news, though, is that the things you make with artbreeder are public domain, you can do whatever you want with them (though it's encouraged that u credit artbreeder)

I did all of my mains with Artbreeder! There were some I had to touch up with Photoshop to get some of their features right, but I'm really happy with these!
i made some surprisingly good tessa's with artbreeder recently! i tried making some other characters but it wasn't working out, but i'd like to give it another go sometime soon. i didn't edit these and i'm a little more fond of the second one, but it amuses me that the one on the left looks like she has a scar on her cheek in the same place. it's going the wrong direction, but it's there xDÂ
I have had a lot of fun making my characters in artbreeder! this one is the one that turned out the best, i've edited it slightly because its very difficult to wrangle artbreeder to fine-tune exactly what you want, and i always seem to end up using the same base and getting a bad case of sameface with my characters.Â
Here's Kierke, after a ton of tweaking in ArtBreeder and a ton of touching up in Photoshop (made ears pointier, edited the slant of the eyes and eyebrows, made her lips wider, nose thinner, added scar, changed the tone of her hair, made the hair long etc etc etc). I might throw her back into the clutches of ArtBreeder and Photoshop for another round to try and get a more realistic result or to tweak her features to look less like those of a supermodel - basically I kinda want to see what "elvish features" would look like on a realistic face.
I did my four main OCs and decided to try and make them look as human as possible!
First is Hanako, who I like the look of but I wish I added more asian genes to. Out of everyone so think she might look the most realistic.
Next is Stella and boy was it hard to get that mischevious and snarky smirk.Â
Next was AJ who easily took the longest. I have so many bad takes of him saved, it was hard to get the hair and the face how I wanted simultaneously.
Finally was Drew, who might be my favourite outcome! The hair is the only downfall since I couldn’t get the blonde underneath he has.
Art breeder is so much fun once you get the hang of it. I LOVE being able to envision my babies as real people!
