Any of your OCs have a similar color palette?

I notice a lot of times I'll end up with OCs that have:

1. A dark shade (gray, brown, black)

2. White to contrast the dark color

3. A color from the rainbow, mostly blue.

I don't do this intentionally at all, but I still end up seeing a lot of them having the almost same color palette?

Ex. Azare , Unnamed , Mizpi , Pepper , TBN , Shimmy , Roku , Jibeez , OC created for MercuryBabey

I'm curious if anyone else does this?

You can show me OCs that are either unintentionally sharing similar colors or intentionally sharing colors

For sure! Drudes, an android race of my creation, all look extremely similar. 06222 is one of the oldest but still not unique in a crowd. She shares almost the same hex color values with 24884. This is 100% intentional.

For some reason I have a lot of yellow/gold/orange characters, not on purpose at all. Oros is a gold dragon, Gunhild is a yellow horse, Havana is also a yellow horse, Lodestar is a grey and yellow lion cyborg, Firebrand is a cream, black and orange canine, Tsugi is a grey, blue and yellow shark hybrid, and Sen is an orange kirin. This is about half my characters and I don't know how it happened.

Looking at my character list and I have a clear bias toward purple even though it's not even my favorite color, lmao.....Hyacinth, Aether, Azriel, Anna, Davey, and Gabriele to name a few...

I just really like the "sunset"-ish palette of purple/pink/orange/yellow!!

Alright so my two ocs Shiro and Fortune look extremely similar: they are both white cats, mostly yellow eyes, heck they even have a red collar with a yellow bell attached. Even their roles are similar! They’re both spirits. Wow what was I doing there XD

I wonder if Sepherkhet is a good example... But oh god I can relate! There was a time when I had only characters like this. But that's only because this design decisions are really good!

yes, i keep giving female characters white hair!!! there's three ladies in my 'kemonomimis' folder right next to each other who all have white hair, plus another in my 'oni' folder. oops!

Esmeen shares a VERY similar color palette to Coal, both having pink eyes, pale skin, black hair and wearing almost exclusively dark colors. I use exclusively warmer toned darks for Coal, though, as opposed to a mix of cool darks and warm ones . Coal was also gifted to me by my wonderful boyfriend!!
