✿ Show Me an OC you're passionate about

I've been super into two of my main mascots recently, first being Pastel! He's made up of my love for cute pastel things, the kidcore aesthetic, and anything cute/kid like in general. It actually took a while for me to design him, as he was originally going to be an object head character, with a pink church bell as the head and with purple eyes (which is actually my pfp on here). BUT, after three-ish years of finally sitting on a design for Pastel, his current design popped in my head and stuck with me till today! He still needs to be developed more, due to me only going as far as his design, but I am thinking of some things.

Albert The Avocado is another mascot! He was originally a random character that I created, and it was right after attempting to grow an avocado pit to create an avocado tree (way too late into the year, sadly had to chuck the pit), so he was meant to be one of those pure characters that sometimes did stupid and shitpost worthy things. But, after chucking the avocado pit, I decided to make him a full fledged shitpost character that's now based on Flamingo- a screecher that does stupid shit for the shits and giggles. He also needs to be fleshed out a bit more.

I've also been heavily into my animatronic baby, Vinny Venturo! He was also another random character I created, originally a random clay sculpture that I just did for the hell of it, but fleshed him out a bit more after a couple of months of sitting on his design, created a full on background for how he was created (alongside his pizzaria crew) and made him a full fledged character that's actually one of my most fleshed out character right now! Even though he's one of my most challenging designs (can't draw front facing animals/snouts and animatronics that well), he's one of my favorite designs still!

I've been making OCs since 2001 when I was eleven and none have come close to the development I've put in Jax. He's completely fleshed out to knowing what causes what thought process and all those little bits. I'm highly proud of creating him and use him in RP daily, so his story continues.

Flare is currently who i have been working on and so far she is the only one who i have mostly written out a backstory for. 

Flare is a 20 year old, some what androgynous looking, girl who is asexual and panromantic. she is British/Japanese, she mainly grew up in and still live in England, her family did there best to have her stay connected to her Japanese heritage thought she can't read or speak Japanese well. She is Half Oni and Half Human, the only things that give away her oni heritage are: her long horns that are the same color as her skin and that she is quite tall (in the 8f range)

she is quite determined when it come to doing things that she thinks are important. she dose get angry a little to easy and tends to get a bit aggressive when in a bad mood. she is surprisingly intelligent for someone who is part Oni and who didn't go to a school. she is a fairly stubborn person when it comes to what she dose or doesn't what to do or like. she is some what of an spontaneous person, especially when she is bored or not doing any thing. she often comes off as a domineering person, thought she doesn't realist most of the time.

When she has to go out to a place where a lot of people and she will have to be there for a while she will, paint her horn to make them look more like some kind of accessors to try avoid people franking out about, them. one horn had a fish theme being mainly scale, and then some lines to be like fine, the other horn, has waves at the bottom and clouds toward the top of the horn giving a kind of sea storm theme to it.

I have so many. I'll put Jade here since my main doesn't have a pic yet nor a ref sheet lol and I'm pretty sure anyone who's ever seen me post on these boards knows I'm pretty invested in developing Ryunosuke. Thing is, Jade and the one character I mentioned who doesn't have a ref sheet are the characters I joined TH for, the built in watermark function would help me protect them from theft. Please note, her bio may contain triggers.

Jade started out as a pose idea for a cute vampire I got driving home from work while listening to the radio. Eventually the funny tumblr vampire posts popped up on my radar, especially the one where they were ranting about why they didn't like it when vampires were depicted as having blood all over their faces. I was like "oh man, you're right" and started developing her. So she started to become a cute vampire who, while adaptable, still loved wearing pretty dresses and gets annoyed with others lack of manners.

Well, it's my first oc I've ever had.

Storytime~

Technically, this is an avatar I created on Gaiaonline, one day I went back to this website because there was an avatar simulator in a website where it was no longer working. So I went back and did some stuff and made Acom. At that time, I had irl problems (my parents fighting, an ex who dropping me at the same time, and no friends.) at the time and I wasn't well I cried so much. This Oc was kinda my persona for a bit but with the time I developed him as today, it's not anymore even I complain to myself my Acom is a bit too edgy for now on. I had seen that there was a forum where we could receive drawings or buy them, so I put my avatar on there and created a request/freebie topic. The drawing that motivates me to get really an art and develop this oc and is this one. When the artist did this art for me ( for free ) I was crazy and my heart exploded. I loved the aesthetic and that's the one who gives me the passion to get art. And more later in the day, someone by the name of z3lyn gives me this art and tells me he loves my avatar and I was happy! ( remember that artist because it's very important for next and very wholesome. )

So by this day, I wanted to develop my Oc and his universe and trying to get wholesome arts and bought adopts at that time to incorporate in his universe later on, I was the coldful one and rude sadly who was really passionate/immature at the same time xwx. more later, I found the artist who gave me the blue drawing, I was shy to post on his long topic but she was kind and caring. By the time, she became my friend and chat about my oc and drew multiple drawings also the ref sheet you can see. By that time, and because of her art and she became my friend, I started to draw. And I started to care about artists. My behavior was changed and I became more mature. I decided to take a pause gaining art on my OCS for a favorite character, and translate comics but also playing visual novels. With that pause, it helped me to think about what I love in general about my character and his personality. I realized that I loved kuuderes one who very passionate later on aha". 

In any case, my oc helped me to progress in my life. And he became something who I'm proud of.

Aaah... here's my pride and joy, Kiraiu!! He's the product of months of hyperfixating on KNY, and definitely a good outlet for lots of emotions. His backstory isn't fully on his profile because I'm currently still searching for the right code (and i suck at coding), but there's so much I'd love to ramble about!!

I really adore his design and color combos and he just makes me really happy. Yellow's always meant happiness for me, and blue's always meant... sadness, or calm. Melancholy. Kiraiu can be all of those! It's nice to have a mostly grumpy/annoyed/cautious OC, because it helps me realize it's alright to be upset sometimes. You're allowed to be annoyed, or grumpy. Emotions aren't something you should be ashamed of, especially if you've had a troublesome past, whether it be minor or large. They can all impact us for a long time, and I've had quite my share, so it's wonderful to project.

His love and relationship with his sister adds that little bit of happiness and fluff to his story, even if she's... no longer around, so to speak. He loved her the most out of anyone in his family, as did she for him. I've always been a sucker for cute family dynamics, and I adore my siblings myself.

Not only can I also project my love for cats and felines in general onto him, but I now have an example of a person who can be grumpy or upset but open up when trust is built and they become so loving, and that helps me accept my hesitation to immediately like someone. Because I don't have to. Any type of relationship takes time, and Kiraiu helps me remember that!

Good lord this is tough cause im super passionate about all of my babies but this one, this one girl right here has my heart. I can't explain why it is exactly i feel so particular attached to her this much but the way she is...how she's just willing to throw herself at literal death just to help a hurting soul is just something i love about her..her selflessness, her impulsiveness to just help others in emotional pain is just so admirable and i just...love her so darn much XMXMCMDC she's been helping me get through quarantine and even my depression. She's just very special to me ;v;

I am honestly super passionate about Victoria. She was my first ever OC I've created for my first ever fandom, Gravity Falls, and I spent all my time developing her ever since. She's sort of also a bit of a comfort character I guess? She's the only OC I feel connected to and the only one I actually put effort into. I currently ship her with another Gravity Falls OC I need to upload here. If anybody wants to know a bit more about her, I can always tell or make a list of facts!

Caesar is a character I am 100% attached to, He has created 3 years ago but I changed around his story and the universe he is in. The reason I adore this character is that his story has a reality in it.

Charlie is possibly my first comfort character that isnt from a series, idk why, i dont relate to her at all, but i really like to draw her! i think that counts,, she's also the first character ive buyed btw, i love her sm
