As a companion to my other thread, "Show me your musically talented characters": Show me your characters who are artists or writers!
They don't need to be professionals, and any sort of art, crafts, or writing will do. I'd just like to see your characters who are creative! Tell us about what they do!
Edit: I see some people asking if various things count. I'd say music-related creativity fits the other thread rather than this one, but otherwise any kind of arts or creation that you feel fit the thread are welcome here!
  Daniel has the ability to make whatever he draws come to life. Which is how he accidentally manifested Mr.Swirly lol
Toku was originally supposed to be a Photographer! He went on a long journey of self-discovery as his life literally went up in flames and eventually ended up with an old portable camera which he took with him. He got moderately good at it over the years and eventually in modern-day was hired on as a photographer for an acquaintance's grassroots fashion brand.Â
Nowadays he's more of a self-insert illustratior, but I'd like to think all the pixel scenes I make are photos 'he took' over the years.
Ollie likes to draw on sidewalks/buildings with chalk for fun. Sometimes he goes to abandoned, questionably haunted places to paint on the floor/walls cos man has no fear. It's his favourite date activity. He's a stage actor and has done a few poster designs to promote shows too.
Huey is a hobbyist photographer and talented florist.
Xirus lives in a realm of almost complete darkness, so to entertain himself he spends a lot of time drawing with light and can also make simple animations with it.
Havva is a seamstress and runs her own shop. She also weaves colorful blankets and rugs.
Isao can weave simple baskets and make good luck talismans for trading. He's really good at calligraphy.
Garret is a cartographer and also makes guides about flora. He does all the illustrations for his guides and his maps are incredibly detailed and accurate. He makes $$$ whenever he sells one off for printing.
Natsuki is a vampire with a culinary degree. He likes to make cute desserts more than anything. He also loves doing his make-up and hair - he often posts his looks to IG and has a decent following. Surprisingly, he never opened his own shop, but he does get to make adorable food at his job.
Essen loves painting- it’s his escape from everything else. He went to art school, but he’d been painting long before that obviously- he started when he was a young child.Â
He cannot take a decent photo to save his life, though. Something about photography just doesn’t work in his brain. Most other creative things he can do, to a degree.. like sculpting, for example. But photography????? Forget it. Essen should be the last person anyone hands a camera.Â
