Running an OC question of the day thread is rough because you always want to answer your own questions, but by the time you have the time it's been a week and you have a bunch of other questions! Not to mention that your questions always have to be pretty general: "what's your OCs' favorite colors" is easy enough for someone with 10 OCs, but there are loads of people who have OCs in the triple digits and beyond!
But y'know what's awesome? Shindan is awesome. I spent last night working on a bunch of options and whipped up a Shindan that will ask you a question to a specific OC every day!

This is kind of a hard question as there are many universes in my story. But for the sake of ease we'll just consider her universe and hers alone. She's a bit of a misanthrope so she'd be rather thrilled at first but the novelty would wear off and that would probably trigger her depression and would likely lead to a very drastic action if you catch my drift.
Hey there, BardicWerewolf! This question is for your most-developed OC. Q: Do they get plain bandages or bandages with characters/patterns on them?
A: Lena has been known to bandage herself and others, but has only really known cloth bandages due to her time period and knowledge. If she were in a time where patterns were possible, she might as well be tempted to get one with little cows or horses on them.

As an alien she doesn't particularly have a type in terms of humans. It's all purely experimental at this point. In terms of her alien lovers she isn't really picky, but she likes her lovers to be physically fit. It's a very biologically based desire.

Not really. Lara will help friends without award but she tends to mind her own bussiness unless the rest of her group pushes her to do otherwise. If anything, she's inclined to do harm to others for no reason.

She is more of a comply and give them what they want type of person. She has a younger brother and she is the only family he has left so she doesn't want to risk death.

Q: Do they try to be friendly with opponents/enemies, or are they against the very idea?
so this was kind of a tossup between Lhovi and Jinile - Lhovi, being from the Feywild and often having dealings with fey, understands that it's important to be there when you say you'll be there, or do a thing when you say you'll do a thing, at least when dealing with the fair folk; it has sort of bled into all aspects of her life for this reason. Jinile is just incredibly prim and proper in every way, and if she has an appointment she will absolutely keep it unless it is absolutely impossible to do so - and she'll be there five minutes early. i'll do Jinile, though.
so.... Jinile doesn't really have a ton of what you'd call opponents or enemies, and specifically goes out of her way to avoid this. she's had a kismesis in the past, which i suppose could fall under that by some definitions? in general i wouldn't personally describe that as such, given that a kismesissitude SHOULDN'T be abusive or anything to that effect; it's an odd relationship dynamic but it needs to be mutually beneficial. unfortunately that was not the case for this previous relationship of hers, though.
i'd say that, generally speaking, Jinile would attempt to afford the same respect and dignity to anyone she was opposed to as she would someone she was allied with. this isn't to say that she'd be friendly and congenial toward them; she'd just be polite. it'd probably be obvious she wasn't on good terms with them, though.

this is probably Viviani. he's such a cuddler and would gladly hug and kiss or cuddle up with just about anyone completely platonically. he likes his hand held, he likes arms around his shoulder, he likes kisses on the cheek and in particular he loves to dole them out. he really loves to compliment people and express his fondness for them in words or in physical displays. i was going to say Lhovi, because she's really much the same in a lot of aspects, but she's a little too temperamental and can really quickly be put into hostility. despite her willingness to freely give affection to people she cares about - and those people are generally numerous - she's also very quick to label someone an enemy for very little, and despite appearances, is surprisingly picky with her chosen companions.
he's really more comfortable knowing that he's very good at a few select things. he'd like to have extensive knowledge and considerable, trained skill in those subjects. he's a little sensitive and his self esteem isn't the greatest, so if he felt like he was just an amateur at a lot of things, i think it would really end up weighing on him emotionally - he'd be worried people thought he was incapable and possibly that he was stupid.
