Interact with a Hex Mage!

I want to do some character building and I cannot figure a better way then to have this antique shop owning, super dramatic, hex crafting mage build character then to have him talk to other characters or answer questions.

Argen Marcirez

there are quite a few Porcilian dolls and the like lining the shelves here and there. on another are some Stuffed toys of varying degrees of worn.

Overall the Toy Corner of the store is stocked. Maybe a bit toooooo stocked.

Thanatos lophiusdragon

Thanatos finds a creepy porcelain doll... "How intriguing... I could curse something like this.... Of course not right now... I would like to purchase it first...  How much for this? I still wish to browse after purchasing this..."

Thanatos was also very curious about what kinds of stuffed animals there were.

Argen then realizes that, as a possibly otherworldly dragon, Thanatos might have a different currency than what he himself uses

"Sorry, I just realized that I never asked if you had Notes (Vestrons National Currency). Be a real shame for you come all the here and not have the money...thhhhhhhough I could overlook it for a traaaaade."

From what could've been seen it's just the usual animals and pop culture figures.

Thanatos lophiusdragon

"I do have these..."

Thanatos brings out several spellbooks.

"These are books on dark magic... I am aware that you don't seem very fond of dangerous dark magic... These contain beneficial dark magic... Various spells.... Like communicating with the spirits of lost loved ones....  Soothing restless spirits... Healing sickness.... Using part of one's life force to save the life of another...  I also have books about the other elements, mostly for scholarly purposes...  I also have various books on nature and wildlife from Elysium and Paradise... I have vast libraries in my home realm so these are extras of books I already have..."

Thanatos finds some plushies he likes. An axolotl, a spider, a vampire bat, a swan, and some weird monsters.  "I find these to be quite adorable.... Shall we make a trade?  I would like to see what other items you have..."

Argen Marcirez

Argen leafs through at least one of the tomes. In the vain hope of finding something to fully convert Aurus.

"Hmmm...I mean these would benefit the cult once I get it going." He replies as he continue to look though "So sure I'll accept these as trade! Even though they'll be in my..." he continues to look though "...Personal..." Even more so "...Archive...hmmm..." He states as he closes the book "Right I promised some pastel stuff in the back!"

And with that he leads the dragon into the back of the store. Where apparel lines the walls and rows "Table Wear, Personal Wear, shirts, dresses. You want it? it's yours! literally I'm throwing in anything else you want. For the books!"

Thanatos lophiusdragon

"Hmmmm.... I prefer something more darkly elegant....  What do mortals of this realm call it again? 'Victorian gothic'?"

Argen Marcirez

lophiusdragon

"Victorian Gothic? Uhhhhhh...OOoooohhh...You're making a tall order. Lemme rummage around for a bit I'm sure I was sold something that fits that description..." Argen replies as he does just that "Ah silly me. what do you prefer? Dresses or Suits? I keep forgetting ask that. I do prefer a rather large customer base so I do try to appeal just about EVERYONE in the gender spectrum."

Thanatos lophiusdragon

"I prefer jewelry, as it fits me better than mortal clothing does.... But if I had to choose of the two things you mentioned.... It depends on how they look....  I am open to either thing personally..."

Argen Marcirez

lophiusdragon

"Ah okay that narrows it down a tad. I don't necessarily have a large catalog of jewelry but hey let's see if we can get you a necklace or a bangle hm?" Argen replies as he pulls a few things

"there's this:"

"Guaranteed not cursed...Yet...Couldn't figure what to curse it with."

"And then this:"

"Again not cursed. Though I was thinking this would turn someone into a human magpie but, alas, I didn't have enough materials to make that manifest."

"Aaaaaand...Oh!"

shopping?q=tbn:ANd9GcQUCNwhoz4dwTC2o3qji

"Not this. I cursed this to turn the wearer into an insufferable brat."

"Oh this might more of what you're looking for!"

"Not cursed! Mostly cause I couldn't figure WHAT to curse it with."

Hecate & Calixto LithiumRazor

The twins enter, having heard there's more to the shop than simple antiques.

Hecate: "There's rumors going around that the owner of this shop knows a thing or two about curses..."

Calixto: "We were hoping to speak with them about... a slight misfortune of ours."

The pair hold up their wrists, only to show that they've been literally tied together by a glowing, black ribbon.

Both: "Know anything about lifting curses?"

Argen Marcirez

Argen looks at the ribbon and then the twins "Okay. Interesting...How did this happen?" Agren says as he pulls out what can be best described as a 'Magical Loupe'

Hecate & Calixto LithiumRazor

The twins look first at Argen, then share a knowing gaze with one another.

Hecate: "Well... someone here doesn't know how to properly read through all of the tome about a spell before performing the incantation. It was not a blinding spell... it was a binding spell."

His brother scoffs and tries to fold his arms, only dragging the shorter haired twin closer.

Calixto: "Reading is for witches who are afraid of fun... live a little, Hec."

Simultaneously, they turn back to Argen. Both: "Well, can you fix this?"

Argen Marcirez

LithiumRazor

"Will you two fools sit still? I'm trying to figure that out!" Argen scolds the two as he goes back to looking at the ribbon "Nothing wrong with reading what the spell does before your cast it...Anyway let's see what I'm dealing with here."

Hecate & Calixto LithiumRazor

Both twins fall silent, curling in on themselves much like children might after being reprimanded. Though it's not long before the pair grow impatient once more.

Calixto: "Does it help that I found the spell, curse, whatever... in some woman's diary? I don't recall her name, just that she had pages and pages about how a man had scorned her and these were all the spells she wanted to use to get back at him?"

Hecate: "I thought reading was for losers."

Argen Marcirez

LithiumRazor

"Hmmm...Scorned...If I wasn't so sure I'd say Vivian but. I'm pretty sure Vivian wasn't one to keep a diary but what do I know? I don't ask enough about her." Argen replies "Well seems like I caaaaaaaaan 'lift' it buuuuut...There's a bit of a caveat..."
