we all know the "what does ur oc smell like" qs but what about vibes?

what vibes does ur oc give off?

do some of ur ocs give off similar vibes or are they all different?

if ur oc gives off good/bad vibes, is it something specific or a gut feeling?  how is it similar/different from other good/bad vibes?

u can word the vibes however way u want, and u can also describe the vibes using aesthetic descriptions too (ex comparable to certain elements/situations)

 Kaleb Renigee

Kaleb feels like calm mornings, like a refresh, because his power is to do that, to refresh people's emotions and make them calm, it happens unwillingly whenever he makes physical contact with someone

Aster zinnia

i’m going solely off of in universe here , aster gives off a general vibe of unease to most people

they might think she’s a witch or they can tell her calm demeanor is fake, and they’re like ‘what’s she hiding man’

to people who are also more .. eccentric they find her as simply friendly and realiable whenever they need to get something occult-related (aster runs a store with that kinda stuff)

i guess it could be called a mysterious but intriguing vibe? but not a dangerous one. kinda like when your in an old house alone

 Yoru Arashine jellyfishstars

Positive and loving vibes - Yoru really tries to make the best of things for those around him

Phayne aaawhyme

when I made phayne (and his other 3 brothers), i wanted to portray something truly grotesque and evil. like whatever was on the inside of an evil soul, he would portray it physically as well.

The vibe I think Phayne lets off is that sort of heavy nasty feeling in the chest, something dreadful!

A vibe I can relate it to would be the 'suspense' of waiting for the balrog to show up, knowing that it's just so evil and it's approaching and all the creatures are scurrying away in terror - from lord of the rings "Fellowship of the ring"

Claude Lovelace Caine

In-universe I intentionally made Claude to be "the other": a lot of people find his presence to be somewhat otherworldly, both in good and bad. Some people take this as something they want to pursue after and want to discover what he really is like, while some other people find him unsettling, like some sort of animal - and most people feel both at the same time. He's perfectly human but most people liken him to a ghost or some sort of spirit; beautiful and alluring, but ultimately dangerous to get too close to. On one hand Claude prefers things that way because he gets to have some degree of control over how people perceive him (and, by extension, have some power over them) but at the same time it's also the reason why a lot of people feel hostile and even downright violent towards him. It doesn't help he looks androgynous but in a way many perceive uncanny and uncomfortable.

His Taros AU counterpart takes it to a next level: he's a beast tamer, and because his own attribute is "a beast", people feel similar around him as they'd do when they're in the presence of a wild predator - which is to say, not very good, even if a lot of people do get curious.

Outside his own universe, I was super delighted to hear a lot of people felt the same about him!! Whenever people express Claude comes across as someone "other" in his respective setting I feel like I have succeeded in what I tried to portray!!

 Lusine📓 iouquie

Lusine gives a strong cold/ serious and somewhat unfriendly vibe. She constantly has this stern look and she’s intimidating. While it’s pretty accurate to her character, it’s not completely true.

Lusine does not take full control of others nor belittle them despite being effectively dominating on certain aspects: she can be respected and stands for herself a lot.

This aspect is accentuated by her overall dark color scheme that makes her look grim but elegant with her fancy looking outfit.

Shalah VincentVanGoat

Look at her, that grin just screams "I'll eat your soul and every soul around in a 20 mile radius." She looks like she'll kill anything really. The complete lack of color only helps sell that creepy and murdery vibe. Being alone in the woods and mostly seen at night sure can't help her case.

Which okay there was a time she was not too far from that kinda demon, but well in her life she really did mellow out, and is now more of a guardian type demoness. She'll make sure you're safe in the forest she calls home. It's the least she can do for the one who summoned her, and also showed her how great life can be on that planet and all. Demon realms aren't so good, but hey the mortal world is fantastic.

Blair Aarix

Either sleazily knowledgeable or noxiously pessimistic, depending on how much he's currently trying to con you into giving him money
You get the feeling that you're better than him, and you'd be right

Ryn Aarix

Ryn's vibe is physically shocking and feels like an almost-physical pressure-- like an overwhelmingly loud drone just below the range of human hearing. It's foreboding and triggers feelings of intimidation and unease.

...Once you've calmed down from the initial shock of this, which takes a minute or two, it subsides, and Ryn's actual personal vibe will stop being overpowered by it. He'll likely read as somewhere on a spectrum between "Extremely Sleazy" and "Extremely Charming", and will definitely strike you as "A Whole Lot Of Spicy Excitement" regardless of whether you feel like this is a good thing or not. Something about him really amps you up-- either in a way that makes you joyfully excited or a way that makes you want to punch him-- whatever way, you can feel his restless energy, and it's contagious. You get the feeling he's all bluster and is maybe not the brightest-- ultimately harmless and there's not much to him.

If you're closer to him, the above is still true to an extent, but you'll see that in private, his vibe is much heavier and colder. He's not uncaring but there's something really stony about him which is almost unsettling given how convincingly airy his public persona is. Watch him in public some more, and you'll either find his act to be slightly sad, or slightly discomforting. It's not because there's anything actually sinister about him-- it just feels like Ryn doesn't quite add up as a person. There's a disconnect somewhere in him that you can really feel, and once you're able to perceive it, it re-contextualizes everything.
